The diary game:[11/07/2026] My Clinical Posting Diary: A Journey Through Learning and Experience and my daily activities
!
Hello guys, you are all welcome to another episode of my diary. My name is @wiregboss, and I am happy to share how my day went with you all.
Today, I woke up feeling very happy and excited because I was grateful for the gift of a new day. I started my morning by saying a short prayer and thanking God for keeping me safe throughout the night. After that, I proceeded to take my bath, which I usually do every morning, and then I brushed my teeth to keep good personal hygiene. Feeling fresh and ready for the day, I got dressed in my work clothes and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving the house.
The weather was calm, and I was looking forward to another productive day at work. As I made my way to work, I kept thinking about the patients I would meet and the new things I might learn during the day. I always enjoy every opportunity to improve my knowledge and gain more experience because it helps me become a better healthcare professional. With a positive mindset and full of energy, I arrived at my workplace, greeted my colleagues with a smile, and prepared to begin the day's activities.
Before leaving the house this morning, I prepared my breakfast. On my way home from work yesterday, I bought some Indomie noodles, eggs, bread, and Milo so I could have a quick meal before going to work. After cooking and enjoying my breakfast, I packed the things I needed for the day and then left for work feeling energized and ready for the day's activities.

On my way to work, I noticed an unusual sound coming from my bike, which made me a little worried. I wasn't comfortable with it, so I decided that after settling down at work, I would take the bike to my mechanic to have it checked and make sure everything was okay.
After arriving at the hospital, my colleagues and I prepared for our usual morning ward round, which is one of the first activities we carry out every day. We gathered all the medications and other materials we would need before going from one ward to another. During the ward round, we administered the morning injections to the patients according to the doctor's prescription and carefully observed their condition. We also greeted each patient, asked how they slept during the night, and listened to any complaints they had about their health. Some patients said they were feeling much better, while others still needed close attention and encouragement. We made sure everyone received the necessary care and support before leaving each ward. The ward round was quite busy, but it was a good learning experience for me because I had the opportunity to observe different patients, improve my practical skills, and learn more about patient care from my senior colleagues. After completing the ward round, we returned to our various units to continue with the rest of the day's activities.

After the ward round, I was posted to the injection unit, where I continued my clinical duties. I had the opportunity to administer injections to some patients under proper supervision while ensuring the correct procedures were followed. After giving the injections, I also took time to educate the patients on how to keep themselves healthy and prevent diseases. I advised them on the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene, taking their medications as prescribed, eating a balanced diet, and visiting the hospital whenever they noticed any unusual symptoms. It was a rewarding experience because I enjoy educating people on how to stay healthy and prevent illness.

After working for several hours, my colleagues and I finally had some free time to rest. The morning had been very busy because we attended to many patients and carried out different responsibilities in our various units. By that time, I was already feeling very hungry and knew I needed to eat before continuing with the rest of my duties.
I decided to make good use of the break by getting myself something to eat. I went to a nearby food vendor within the hospital environment and bought a plate of rice. While eating, I had the chance to relax for a few minutes and chat with some of my colleagues about how the day was going and the experiences we had during the morning shift. After finishing my meal, I drank some water and felt much stronger and refreshed. The short break gave me enough energy to return to work with a positive mindset and continue attending to patients for the rest of the day.

After eating, we attended a lecture where we learned about gluconeogenesis, which is the process by which the body produces new glucose from non-carbohydrate substances. It was an interesting lesson that helped me understand how the body maintains blood sugar levels.

Before I knew it, it was already 6:00 p.m., which is our normal closing time. It had been a very busy and stressful day, and I was feeling tired after attending to patients and carrying out different responsibilities. I packed my belongings, said goodbye to my colleagues, and prepared to head home for some rest. Even though I was exhausted, I was happy because I had learned new things and successfully completed my duties for the day.

That was how my day went. It was a long and stressful day, but I am grateful for the opportunity to learn new things and gain more practical experience. Every day at the hospital teaches me something valuable and helps me become a better healthcare professional. I thank God for a successful day and for giving me the strength to complete all my duties. Thank you all for taking the time to read my diary. I truly appreciate your support, and I look forward to sharing another experience with you in my next post. Stay safe and have a wonderful day!
