The Diary Game: A Stressful Day In The Farm But I Met new faces And It Is A Blessed Day (03/08/2026)

Good day guys, I'm yours truly @gentlefx8 and I welcome you to another episode of my daily diary. I woke up early this morning feeling energetic and excited because it was another day of the youth empowerment program that I was fortunate to be part of. I was looking forward to carrying out the task assigned for the day alongside the friends I met yesterday. After getting myself ready, I left with a positive mindset, eager to learn more and gain practical experience. I was thankful to God for giving me the strength and another opportunity to be part of such a wonderful program equipping the Youths.

Connecting with Participantts

When I arrived at the meeting point, I spent some time talking with a few of the other participants. We had interesting conversations, shared our experiences and got to know one another better. It was exciting to meet new faces and build new friendships with people from different backgrounds. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere enjoyable. I was happy to connect with them because programs like this not only teach practical skills but also create opportunities to meet amazing people and learn from one another in one way or another.

Meeting Time

Not long after, we were gathered together and informed about the task for the day. We were told that we would be applying fertilizer on a maize farm. Before heading to the farm, we loaded bags of fertilizer onto a tractor that would transport them to the site. It required teamwork because everyone had to contribute to make the work easier and faster. We worked together with enthusiasm, making sure everything was properly arranged before leaving for the farm. It was another valuable lesson in cooperation and responsibility. The fertiliser bags were heavy though.

Mixing Fertiliser

When we finally arrived at the farm, we immediately got to work. We started mixing the fertilizer and applying it to the maize crops as instructed. The work was very stressful and physically demanding because we spent several hours under the sun, moving from one section of the farm to another. Even though I became tired along the way, I remained focused and completed my assigned task. At the end of the day, I felt proud of myself for scaling through the challenge. It was indeed a beautiful experience that taught me the value of hard work, teamwork and perseverance. I am grateful for another productive day and look forward to learning even more in the days ahead.
