What type of service location did you visit? Briefly describe it.

In response to the question, I have seen here that of course, I was given the opportunity to visit any one of the two. From them, I chose the hospital. I will present the hospital before you, and the name of this hospital is Diabetes Hospital. This hospital is one of the main hospitals for diabetic patients in Bogura district, in the northern region of Bangladesh. All doctors here recommend it for diabetic patients.

This place is situated in such a location that it is next to Satmatha and New Market, near Pan Pran Center in Bogura town, and also connected to Nawab Bari Road. With gated access and good management, the hospital always provides services. This hospital is open every day except Friday, and all the doctors provide services every day. It is a three-story building, and through these three spacious floors, they provide their services.

This diabetes center is a very important hospital for the people of Bogura, and it is a diabetes hospital that is part of a diabetes association. There is a diabetic association in Bogura, and as part of that, this diabetes hospital was established. This diabetes hospital was founded in 1983. At that time, the founder of this diabetes hospital was the late Habibur Rahman Bhandari. He established this institution while he was alive.

I believe that over the decades, this institution has been providing service to everyone in a very beautiful manner. Although the founder has passed away, his institution continues to operate smoothly. Regarding its location, I have mentioned before that the central area of Bogura city is Satmatha, and from Satmatha, if you walk along the Nawab Bari Road for about 500 to 600 meters north, you will find it. To be honest, this hospital is located next to the BNP office in Bangladesh.

Type of work & Workers’ lifestyle

They carry out the work type and lifestyle of an important hospital very beautifully, following life guidelines. There are many doctors here, and all of them are very good quality doctors as far as we know. Among the doctors in Bogura district, and as far as we know, diabetes patients and diabetes doctors are generally kind-hearted. Here, each day starts at 8:00 in the morning and continues work until 4:00 in the afternoon, and the doctors maintain their lifestyle in this way.

At the same time, there are some staff here who are engaged in cleaning and maintaining hygiene, and there are also nurses whose work is to stay with the doctors, know what is needed when, and assist the patients and provide care. Separate staff have been appointed for all these tasks. Moreover, patients have to follow several steps here; since this is a diabetes hospital, every diabetic has to follow different rules and regulations.

For example, the system for newcomers is a bit different from that for the old patients. The newcomers are treated separately; they will first see a doctor, and after seeing the doctor, the doctors will prescribe various tests. They have to undergo those tests, and after the tests, the reports will come. The office will review those reports and advise the patients on various steps to be taken. As for the existing patients, they will first come and do a blood test, in other words, they will screen for diabetes first. They will not see the doctor before getting the report, but rather they will take the blood test after having the report in hand. The system is very nice and well-organized.

An important question has been asked: in fact, in every case, for every institution, and about every place, considering the environmental impact is extremely important. If I discuss the environment of this hospital, I would say, of course, it is definitely included within a very good environment. Why it is not a terrible environment is because diabetes patients do not bring any problems from outside; rather, most of the problems are internal. For example, there are no issues like injuries, etc.

Considering all aspects just to give the picture of the patients, I believe the environmental impact here is very good.
