SLC31-W3 || Our Surroundings A Series of Real Life Experiences ; Mosque & Temple.

Assalamu Alaikum I hope all the members of the Steemit family are well and healthy by the grace of Allah. I am also well by the infinite grace of Allah. Today I am going to participate in a beautiful and interesting challenge of the Steem Space community. Which is called “Our Surroundings A Series of Real Life Experiences”. This challenge is organized by @Kibreay001 and @Adeljose brother. I sincerely thank them. For organizing such a realistic and experience-based competition. The topic of Week-3 of this challenge today is Mosque & Temple. I like this topic very much. Because through this we get the opportunity to know the religious places around us in a new way. So today I am going to share with you the real experience of visiting a beautiful mosque. Let's start...

1 What type of service location did you visit? Briefly describe it.

The place I visited is a beautiful Jama Masjid. It is built in a modern architectural style and looks a lot like the Taj Mahal from a distance. This mosque is quite popular in the surrounding area for its beauty and craftsmanship. Every day many people come here to offer prayers and enjoy the beauty of the mosque. According to the locals, it is one of the largest and most attractive mosques in North Bengal.

2 Operational history & Location (Steem Atlas pin)

This Jama Masjid is located near Aftabganj Bazar, Swapnapuri, Dinajpur district. This mosque is known locally as an important religious center. The mosque is open for five daily prayers and a large number of devotees gather here on Fridays. The construction of this mosque has been done in a modern plan. And some work is still going on to enhance its beauty. I saw that work is still going on there. This mosque is not only for the locals, but people from various surrounding areas also come to pray here. The distance from our Badarganj Upazila to this mosque is about 11 kilometers. Despite being so close, I have never been here before. But I often saw pictures of this mosque from my friends. They used to come here and take pictures and share them on social media. Since then, I was interested. I will go there one day. I originally planned to go to Swapnapuri after Eid. And I also wanted to see this mosque. Finally, that opportunity came and I went here and took pictures and videos. Although I took these pictures and videos about a month ago, they were not posted. But today, through this challenge, I am sharing my experience.

3 What are the roles and responsibilities of a mosque Imam and Muazzin, and a temple priest?

The role of the Imam and the Muezzin is very important for the smooth running of a mosque. The Imam mainly leads the prayers and delivers the Friday sermon. He propagates the teachings of Islam and helps guide us on the right path. The role of the Imam is also immense in maintaining morality in the society. On the other hand, the main responsibility of the Muezzin is to give the Azan. Which calls Muslims to prayer. He helps in determining the prayer times and plays a role in keeping the environment of the mosque beautiful and clean. Just as in other religious places, priests conduct worship in temples. Similarly, the Imam and the Muezzin conduct religious activities in the mosque.

4 Environmental impact & (With pictures + videos)

I found the atmosphere of this mosque very peaceful and pleasant. There is a kind of tranquility here because of the open space and clean environment around it. The beauty inside and outside the mosque is really beautiful, which gives mental relief. However, since it is close to the market, I sometimes noticed some noise and traffic. Which I felt could cause some inconvenience. Still, overall the atmosphere is quite good and the religious atmosphere has been maintained. Speaking of my personal feelings, I liked this mosque a lot. Earlier, I liked it only by looking at the pictures. But the experience of actually coming and seeing it is completely different. Its beauty, architecture and atmosphere really impressed me.
