Assalamu Alaikum. Greetings Sri Lankan community. How are you all? I hope that by the grace of Allah, you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am also doing well. I pray to the Creator that we are always doing well.

Today I want to share a lifestyle and agriculture related post with you. Basically, the month of Baishakh is currently going on and during the month of Baishakh, it is time to produce the most expensive and golden crop of Bangladesh, jute. Basically, jute is very popular as a golden fiber. People in every district of Bangladesh often cultivate jute. Jute is a valuable crop of our country and it is considered a cash crop.

At the beginning of the month of Baishakh, a large amount of jute is cultivated in our fields. Currently, the entire field of our village is only jute and jute. Basically, the farmers have first harvested paddy from their land. They have cultivated the land at the last time they harvested paddy and corn and sowed the seeds of the golden crop jute in the field.

Basically, when jute is sown in the field, water is needed after two to three days. Without water, jute seeds can never grow or produce a crop.

If God gives rain, then this is very happy news for the farmers. And if there is no rain, then the farmers have to work hard to irrigate.

On the one hand, it is the end of the month of Chaitra and the time of the Kalbaishakh storm. There are a lot of clouds in the sky. There are heavy clouds and it is raining occasionally. However, light rain does not benefit jute. The jute plant definitely needs a lot of rain and it needs to rain heavily.

Since there is no rain heavily, the farmers have to water their land through additional sewage pumps. Since the land has been acquired with a lot of difficulty and that land has been cultivated. Currently, other crops and cash crops, jute, have been sown in that land. If we do not take care of them, they will be ruined.

So after waking up in the morning, I went to an entrepreneur. Basically, he is a small entrepreneur and besides that, he works as an irrigator in agricultural land.

I went to his house in the morning and asked him to irrigate our agricultural land. Basically, our jute land is now being irrigated. Although there are clouds and rain in the sky at times, it is very little rain. What good is this little rain doing to our crops?

It is raining heavily in many parts of Bangladesh. However, our country receives the least rain.

However, finally our crops have grown a little. Our jute plants have already grown five leaves and now they need a lot of water. Since it is not raining, we have to make artificial rain and water the crop land by soaking it.

Finally, I have shared a blog with you on the subject of irrigation that is given during the production of golden crops in the month of Baishakh. I hope you liked the whole blog. Thank you very much for staying with agriculture. Thank you very much for reading my blog.

Best regards
