It becomes quite difficult for me to give time to my family on such a busy day. However, yesterday was one of the special days of my life—because yesterday was my wife's birthday. To make this special day memorable and, at the same time, to participate in this Steemit Fried Chicken Contest, I went on a food tour with my wife in the evening. Our destination was a very famous fast food shop in the Dhaka Cantonment area, called B-Baria Fast Food and Kebab. I am sharing this beautiful experience of mine, detailed information about the restaurant, and the answers to the contest questions.

Food Quality:
As a special treat for my wife's birthday, we first tried the famous sour-sour fuchka, which was really good. Then we ordered fried chicken. The fried chicken was fresh, hot and juicy inside. The crispy layer on top was so perfect that it made a great sizzling sound when you bite into it. We liked Khalil Saheb's fried chicken so much that we not only ate it for ourselves, but also took several pieces of fried chicken as takeaway parcels for everyone in the house.

Structure and Environment:
In my opinion, although the seating area of this restaurant is not very large, the interior environment is quite neat and clean. The lighting system is great, which is perfect for sitting with the family.

Customer Service:
The tables at this Manikdi shop were quite crowded after yesterday evening. However, their customer service deserves praise. Hot food was served to our table within 10-12 minutes of ordering.
Owner Information:
The owner of this shop is a very friendly man, Khalil Saheb. He personally stands and supervises all the customers and makes the chatpoti and fuchka himself.

Both digital and cash methods are available for paying bills here. Customers can pay directly in cash if they want. There is also a great facility to pay through mobile banking (BKash/Nagad). We paid our bill in cash.

I have known Khalil Saheb's shop since its inception. Initially, it started as a small shop on a corner of a street. But due to the amazing taste of the food, quality, and Khalil Saheb's honesty, the shop is slowly becoming a big business, getting the love of the customers. From a simple snack shop, it has now transformed into one of the best fast food and kebab joints in the area.

In my opinion, when you take the first bite of hot fried chicken, the story behind its sizzling sound is not just about a recipe; it is actually a beautiful celebration of the love, effort, and joy of many people. I think that even a simple piece of fried chicken can be a great way to sit at a table with loved ones at the end of the day, talk, laugh, and share a beautiful moment, forgetting the fatigue of a busy life.

✓ When ordering fried chicken, what pieces do you prefer to include in your dish (breast, thighs or wings)?

My main preference when ordering fried chicken is the leg piece (thigh / chicken leg) and then the wings. I think the meat of the leg piece is always tender and juicy, which goes very well with the spices. The breast piece is sometimes a bit dry or tough, so I always enjoy the leg piece or wings more. We also ordered the fried chicken leg piece at Khalil Saheb's shop.

✓ What do you like to have with your fried chicken? Mention your ideal side dishes (such as french fries, salads or dressings).

I think the real fun of fried chicken comes with the right side dish. My ideal combination is crispy French fries with a bowl of crispy mayonnaise and tomato sauce dressing. This combination of crispy chicken with sauce on the French fries seems to me the best.

✓ What should the perfect piece of fried chicken be like? Do you prefer it with a classic, crispy breading, or do you like it to have a tender and soft texture?

In my opinion, a perfect fried chicken should have a classic, crispy breading on the outside, but at the same time, the meat inside should be tender, fluffy, and juicy. The real value of fried chicken is the feeling of the soft, warm meat inside sticking to your mouth after the crispy outer layer as soon as you bite into it.

Conclusion

In fact, it becomes quite difficult for many of us to go out of our daily routine and give time to our family like that. So, taking advantage of a special day like our wife's birthday, spending a beautiful evening with her at Manikdi's shop, and enjoying fuchka and fried chicken was truly a different feeling. The taste of the crispy fried chicken from Khalil Saheb's shop fascinated us so much that on the way back, we bought fried chicken for everyone at home. As a common man, the story of Khalil Saheb's business growing from nothing has filled my chest with a different kind of love. The honesty and forward movement of such familiar people around us really inspires us.
