A reunion of relatives: a gathering of old relations

Alhamdulillah!, when I wake up in the morning and look out the window, my mind feels good. Today's weather has been beautiful and clear since morning, with a sunny sky and a gentle breeze. Thursday means the last working day of the week, due to which a different kind of relief and cheerfulness have been working in my mind since morning. Because the next day is our desired holiday!
I reached the office as usual. A while after starting work, when I was a little sleepy and tired, a cup of hot tea removed all the fatigue. Then the busyness of the day began. Since today is Thursday, the last day of the week, I have organized all my office work and completed it on time. I always try to manage my time so that I can finish all my work on time and get home. While at the office, I also spoke with my wife on the phone. She was urging me to finish in the office and return home quickly, because we have to go to a special program at night.
As soon as I left the office, I realized that today is Thursday. Many people from villages near Dhaka try to go to their villages in the afternoon to spend their holidays, so there is a terrible traffic jam on the roads.
I always try to keep up with Steemit whenever I get a little time. So, after sitting in the traffic jam and returning home, I was browsing the Steemit platform with my laptop and checking my notifications. I was also drafting my new post to participate in some contests. This makes my idle time very meaningful.
In the meantime, an exciting cricket match started. I kept my eyes on the 2nd ODI match between Bangladesh and Australia on the laptop screen. Cricket is not just a game for us Bengalis; it is our passion. Bangladesh played wonderfully and won. The most joyful thing is that Bangladesh has won the series with Australia for the first time. This historic victory doubled my joy on Thursday.

Ever since I returned home, my daughter Muntaha kept asking, Baba, when are we going? And at the same time, she kept showing me the beautiful henna on her hands and telling me, Baba, look, I have done henna on my hands. Seeing this small joy of hers, my fatigue vanished in an instant.
We got ready for a special event in the evening. A few days ago, I received an invitation to a wedding. The invitation came from the landlord of my previous house, whose daughter Maria Sultana Bhavna is getting married on June 12th. We went to Bhavna's yellow wedding ceremony this evening out of love.

I reached the event with my family at exactly 8:30 PM. The entire area was decorated with lanterns and beautiful lighting. The program's sound box was playing a selection of beautiful wedding songs, which made the entire atmosphere festive.

Many guests attended this program of Halud. The best thing was that we also met some of our old neighbours in this program of Halud. There was a strange mental satisfaction hidden in meeting them, exchanging greetings about old memories and capturing the joyful moments on camera.

Alhamdulillah, we spent about two and a half hours there. Actually, I always like wedding programs very much. Especially around the wedding, a wonderful gathering of all relatives and acquaintances is held, which is not often seen. The small children wore colorful Punjabis and the girls wore yellow sarees and kept the entire festival lively. My little girl also shared the joy with everyone.

After the ceremony, a very delicious hot biryani was prepared for all of us. I finished my dinner with that delicious biryani with my family. After dinner, we returned home at 11.30 pm.

Conclusion
At the end of the day, when the clock struck eleven thirty at night, we returned home with a heart full of timeless joy. Today reminded me of a simple truth again – no matter how mechanical we become in this busy city of bricks and stones, at the end of the day, it is the love of people for each other that keeps life beautiful. At the wedding of an old landlord's daughter, the smiling faces of the neighbors and the familiar noise of relatives seemed to bind us together. The movement of little Muntahar's henna-painted hands and the sounds of the festival around made all the fatigue disappear in an instant. May the relationships live on with such pure sincerity, and may the life of every person be filled with festival.
