The Diary Game: 17th July, 2026. Introvert Diary: *Salon Day, Heavy Rain, and Peaceful Night*

Hello steemians, how is everybody enjoying this raining season. I'm still your one and only lady @Macinova. Let me tell you how my day went. It was calm, productive, and ended so peacefully but heavy rain wanted to ruin it but thank God all in praise.

I slept deeply last night and woke up around *7:15 AM* feeling refreshed. The room was quiet, I lay flat pray to my God just for 15mins to appreciate for life and health. New day to start with a new blessings. I ate rice and stew for breakfast and drank enough water to avoid dehydration according to my family nurse.

By *10:00AM*, I decided it was time to do something nice for myself. I’ve been thinking about it for a while, and today I said “let’s do it.” So I got ready, walking on the street. Everywhere is dirty and smelling because of heavy rain. I walked for 30mins then enter tricycle to my destination. Finally at the salon.

By 11:00 AM I'm already at the salon. I needed a neat, clean weave that will last me and make me feel good. The process was calm, sat down, listened to music, and watched as my hair was styled bit by bit. After some hours, it was done. Fresh braids. Neat zig zag lines. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. There’s something about a new hairstyle that makes you feel lighter and more confident. Paid the stylist and headed home feeling brand new.

Luckily I got home before another rain started.. At 3:15 PM the weather changed. It *rained heavily*. The sound of the rain on the roof was so calming. I was tired from the day, sitting at the salon and moving around. So I ate fried groundnut which is light dinner, took a warm bath, and got ready for bed early. Around *7:30 PM*, I was already in bed. No phone scrolling, no stress. Just me, the sound of the rain, and peace. I said my prayers and thanked God for protection, for strength, and for a beautiful day.

Sometimes the best days are the quiet ones.
