The multi-purpose jute products fair organized at Shaheed Zia Hall, located in the heart of Chashara, Narayanganj, is a unique and educational experience for me. This fair is not just a place for shopping, but also a great opportunity to see the traditional jute industry of our country up close. Under the initiative of the Bangladesh Ministry of Jute and Textiles, home decoration and daily-use products made of jute have been showcased by our country's entrepreneurs. I go to the fair in the afternoon after work and record pictures and videos of the products. Every year, the fair is organized here with jute products at this time. In our country, jute is called the “golden fiber” because it is deeply connected to our economy and culture. As soon as you enter the fair, you see various types of products made of jute around you, such as bags, mats, ropes, carpets, showpieces, and even clothes. Since each product is handmade, it has a touch of a kind of art. There is a huge banner at the entrance gate. There are stalls of small products made by each entrepreneur. Especially women buyers are seen the most. There is a police force inside to control security.

Each stall of the fair was beautifully decorated. The vendors presented their products in a way that easily attracted the buyers. I especially noticed the bags made of jute. They are not only beautiful to look at, but also environmentally friendly. Nowadays, jute products have become very important to reduce the use of plastic, and this fair is spreading that message to everyone. There are all the products used in the household. I was very attracted to seeing the products in each stall.

While visiting the fair, I got to know many new types of jute products that I had never seen before. Such as jute flower vases, lampshades, wall hangings, key hangers, pen holders, etc. These not only enhance the beauty of the house but also highlight our native culture. In addition, some stalls were also showing different steps of jute processing, which was very useful for students. I sent pictures of some of the products to my wife on my mobile.

The best part of this fair is that it creates a big platform for local entrepreneurs. They can sell their products directly to the buyers, so they get a fair price. This improves their livelihood and the jute industry moves forward. People from different parts of our country have come here with jute products. Most of the products are for home decoration.

The environment of the fair was very clean and orderly. The security system was also good, so everyone, including the family, could move around safely. There were also some entertainment arrangements for the children, which gave them joy. In addition, security was controlled by CCTV cameras. The crowd of buyers increased, especially from the afternoon to night. There are online and offline facilities for making payments. The prices of jute products were within our reach. I got to know the prices of some jute products, which were very low.
