Buddhist temples are examples of ancient architecture

I reviewed an old historical temple. It is located in Gazipur district. This is a historic old Buddhist temple in Gazipur district. It was built by the ancient Pala kings. A lot of effort and money was spent on this temple during that time. Its name is Gazipur Buddhist Temple. It was founded in 1758. Worship has been going on here for a long time since that time. However, recently it has been preserved as an archaeological site in Bangladesh. You can get here by walking or by car from within the Gazipur Duet area. It will take a maximum of fifteen minutes to reach here from the Duet area. This old Buddhist temple is located next to the road.

Since this place was a place of worship, it was open to all at all times. There is no fee to enter here. Entry is free for everyone. People can visit here anytime as there is free access for everyone. If we talk about the environmental situation here, then the environmental balance here is not very healthy. However, the stones of the old temple here will fascinate you. Because there was an attempt to decorate the temple with many intricate crafts. This temple was built by the royal family of that time, due to which its craftsmanship was very dazzling and eye-catching. I find the design of this eye-catching, glittering temple unique. Although it is very old, it retains the Bangladeshi traditions of that time.

I had a great experience visiting here. There are no Buddhist activities in our area, but by looking at the scenery of this temple, I gained some idea of their traditions and places of worship. As an old place of worship, this temple is the largest in Gazipur. At one time, this temple was vibrant and Buddhists of Bangladesh used to worship here. There was no statue inside it. In my experience, this temple is now very old and I think that no worship is possible here until it is rebuilt.

This place is very important as an ancient civilization of our country. Ancient civilizations developed long ago, and this place is about 200 years old. The various crafts and old temple scenes here hold a unique heritage. This place is an important place for preserving the country's ancient civilization and showcasing the architecture of the walled history. Because there are very few Buddhist temples in the country that are government-owned. It is maintained by the government as it is one of the most important places in the country. It is a very beautiful place, a symbol of the country's heritage and ancient civilization.

How is the site preserved today? Does it still fulfill its original function?

Currently, the scene of this place seems very abandoned. However, it has a defined boundary, within which the monuments that formed this ancient civilization are officially preserved. There are guards to protect it and it is also maintained administratively. Although it is a long-standing Buddhist temple, its craftsmanship and it is being preserved as a monument of ancient civilization. Because it is so old, access to it has been relaxed. The entire area is monitored by CCTV cameras because it is an ancient civilization so that there is no misuse. These conservation measures are very strong here.

What do you feel when visiting this place that represents the pride of your people?

A time of curiosity and joy in travel

This place is an old establishment in our country. A wonderful example of architecture from antiquity and historical times. People come here with a lot of curiosity and come here to take pictures. People express their feelings by coming to an old temple that has been around for a long time. Tourists are also attracted here, especially in the afternoon. Anyway, I traveled here with great pleasure, I mainly considered it a monument of an ancient civilization and a historical site. We have made the structures there and the history here available. After visiting, I feel very happy that its history and tradition are a unique feature for us Bengalis. Above all, coming here has really revitalized my memories and allowed me to learn about history. It was as if there was a living sense of antiquity.

Because this place is a unique example of archaeology and civilization.
