Write on a movie that has never left your mind because it impacted you |

It's another week for the Movie Magic Challenge. I have been taking part in this challenge for the past 2 weeks, though I haven't been selected in the top five entries yet. @ruthjoe reviews have helped me understand how this challenge should be presented.
This week I choose 'Breath of Life' A Nigerian Movie:
| Movie | Breath of Life |
|---|---|
| Producers | Derin Adeyokunnu and Eku Edewor |
| Director | BB Sasore |
| Release Date | 15th November, 2023 |
| Language | English |
| Story by | BB Sasore |
This movie centers on a lead character, Wale Ojo as Timi. His life was torn apart when his family, wife and child were executed right in front of him by Baby Fire's gang. That scene got my eyes teary, it felt so real because of how Timi struggled and cried out his heart.

|---|
This incident really traumatized Timi and brought out the rage in him. He took revenge on the lead prosecutor, 'Baby fire,' and tried killing himself many times in a most ridiculous way. But each time, he woke up and see he wasn't dead.

It wasn't only Timi that got my attention. The young man he hired as a houseboy, Elijah. He grew up in an orphanage home. The pay of Timi's vacancy for a houseboy was good, and Elijah was happy to get the job. That's how he ended up with Timi.
This movie left emotional moments that can't be erased from my mind. I have literally watched it over 3 times, reflecting on the funny and emotional scenes that created a space in my mind.
Which scene still stays in your mind? Why? |
|---|
The scene where Timi's houseboy, Elijah had to prepare eggs for him 16 times before getting it right the way Timi wants it.
Lesson from that scene that is still stuck in my mind:
"Stay humble and endure your humble beginnings. Sometimes the person testing your patience might be fighting in silent"

Elijah didn't know why his boss behaved that way, throwing away 15 plates of eggs just because he didn't like them? There was more to Timi's actions Elijah didn't know yet, but he stayed humble and kept serving him. He later accepted the 16th plate. Funny right? But if that kind of incident happened to you in reality, how would you feel?

Though Elijah didn't know much about Timi's family at that time, he usually share in his pain. Every evening, Timi would stay in his room filled with his wife and child's memories, lost in grieve. Elijah would sit outside the room and grieve with him in silence.
What message did you carry forward? |
|---|
Life doesn't end when I lose someone I love in death or when I fail. There's still more to life after our bad days. Timi survived two attempted suicide; I don't want to even try and see if I would be lucky😃
What I learned: Instead of having suicidal thoughts when things are hard to deal with, I will choose to live with what I have left. That is having faith in God. Instead of blaming God for my bad situations, I've learned that He is patient and ready to help the heartbroken, just like He did for Timi. He gave him hope through Elijah.
Elijah's resilience also paid off. Timi lost his family, and Elijah was an orphan, so they were even, neither of them had anyone left. Timi later adopted Elijah. As his son now, Timi transferred all his riches worth million of dollars to Elijah before he died.

Would you recommend this movie and Why? |
|---|
Yes I will.
Watch the movie to see why Timi's family was persecuted in front of him, and how he revenge Baby Fire. It's not just about revenge, it tells a strong story with real emotions displayed by the lead actors.
The movie portrays the reality of life: grief, faith, purpose, and humble beginning. I would especially recommend it to young people working hard to achieve their goals. Timi and Elijah's roles in this movie will give you a lot to think about.
