A rainy Friday, ‎ I woke up at about 5:00 a.m. As usual, the first thing I did was kneel down and give thanks to God for preserving my life and allowing me to see another day. I praised God for His goodness, mercy, and protection over my life and family. After that, I spent some time in prayer and intercession, committing the day into God's hands and praying for His guidance in all that I would do.

‎At around 9:00am the rain had subsided a bit so I stepped outside to do house chores. Since I didn't have any food in the house, I did not eat in the morning.

‎Later in the day, at around 11:00am I went for a lesson where I taught two students Mathematics. The topic was Statistical Representation. I deliberate on raw data, frequency distribution table, bar chart, pictogram, and pie chart. I use pictures and flashcards have aid for better understanding of the concept. After the lesson delivery I did an evaluation to confirm if learning has taken place, I gave them five class work questions to test their understanding. The students participated actively and showed a good understanding of the lesson.

‎ After coming back from the lesson I was so hungry and exhausted since I didn't eat anything in the morning. Luckily for me my junior brother had cooked 2 cups of rice. He didn't put much of the condiments, just 2 cube of Maggi, pepper, onions and palm oil, it was helpful to me because I was too weak after the lesson I did awhile ago. I eat it to quench my hunger a bit.

Choristers' Revival Programme

‎ At about 5:00 p.m. I attended the Choristers' Revival programme at The Apostolic church Nigeria. We worshipped God, prayed together, and listened to messages that encouraged us in our Christian faith. It was a 3 hour service, among the order of service I was called upon to join 3 other choristers to render praises (quartet). The service was spirit filled and indeed revived my mind and spirit towards God.

The messages shared during the programme reminded us of the importance of remaining faithful to God and serving Him wholeheartedly. The atmosphere was peaceful, joyful, and spiritually uplifting. By the end of the programme, I felt refreshed in my spirit and encouraged to continue serving God with dedication. ‎It was a meaningful and productive day. I spent the day teaching, resting, worshipping, and reflecting on the significance of Democracy Day in Nigeria.
