""SC-S31/W6-Movie Magic |Movies that stay with you(VIVAH)
Hello Teaching Team |
|---|
Hello My Steemain Friends ,
Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S31- W6: which is all time my favourite topic ""Movie Magic| |Movies that stay with you" this amazing challenge organised by @ruthjoe
Write on a movie that has never left your mind because it impacted you |
|---|
For the topic assigned in today's competition, I have chosen the movie VIVAH. Vivah is a romantic, family-oriented, and wholesome film—one that you can comfortably sit down and watch with your entire family. I have watched this movie four or five times; whenever it airs on TV, I find myself completely engrossed in it. It never feels boring; the songs are absolutely excellent—the more you listen to them, the more you fall in love with them.
The emotional and poignant love portrayed between the hero and heroine in this film is something to be truly felt—something to be understood with the heart. If you grasp this love with your heart, you will feel that the very same sense of love resides within you as well. It is an unspoken, pure, and deeply affectionate love—and remarkably, it blossoms within the framework of an arranged marriage, not a love marriage.

The couple is brought together through the union of two families. The love and sense of belonging depicted in this film have left a very deep impression on my mind. Such devoted and selfless love is a rare sight to behold.
Which scene still stays in your mind? Why? |
|---|
Every scene of this film is etched in my heart and mind. I first watched this movie in a theater, and since then, I have watched it numerous times on TV at home. The film beautifully portrays a gentle romance and the affectionate bond shared among family members.
In the movie, the heroine, Amrita Rao, lives with her uncle and aunt. They also have a daughter of their own, who is not quite as beautiful as Amrita. Amrita is exceptionally beautiful; while her uncle loves her dearly, her aunt remains constantly irritable toward her and maintains an emotional distance.
Even when a marriage proposal arrives for Amrita from a prominent and wealthy family, her aunt remains resentful. She objects to providing any gifts or dowry for the wedding. Her reasoning is, "Amrita is marrying into such a rich family; what is the point of giving her anything?"—though her uncle insists on giving her gifts
.In this scene , During the wedding festivities—just as the groom's procession is about to arrive and amidst the ongoing preparations—firecrackers are being set off. A firecracker lands inside their home, setting the entire house ablaze. The uncle's daughter is on the verge of being engulfed by the flames when Amrita Rao—dressed as a bride—rushes in to save her; in the process, she herself suffers severe burns across her entire body. Upon learning of this, the hero immediately ensures she receives the very best medical treatment available.
The bride tells him, "Please do not marry me now; I am no longer beautiful." She calls him aside privately to reveal the wounds covering her body; yet, the groom marries her nonetheless and subsequently devotes himself entirely to caring for her.
It was such a touching moment—one that has etched itself into my heart and mind, leaving me to wonder: How can anyone be so good? How can anyone love another so deeply?
What message did you carry forward? |
|---|
After watching this film, the message I would like to share with everyone is this: just as this movie places the sentiment of love above all else—attaching no significance to wealth or social status—we, too, should prioritize love. It portrays how a poor orphan girl, who had lost her parents, was embraced with open arms and unwavering support. Her every preference and dislike was treated with care and consideration. It is precisely this kind of attitude that strengthens the unity of a family.
We should strive to live together happily within our own families in this same spirit; doing so fosters a positive domestic atmosphere and preserves harmony within the home. Rather than deeming money to be supreme, we should regard love as the highest value of all.
Would you recommend this movie? Why? |
|---|
Absolutely, I would highly recommend this film. It is a must-watch for everyone, offering valuable lessons regarding love, family unity, and the importance of standing by one another even during times of sorrow. Everyone should take this lesson to heart: when a loved one faces adversity, you must never abandon them. If you have chosen someone as your life partner, you must remain committed to that bond and honor your vows.
The spirit of selflessness and devotion portrayed in this film—the way it casts aside social hierarchies and demonstrates a deep understanding of one another's circumstances—is truly remarkable. Indeed, it is precisely these qualities that constitute the true beauty of this film.
