What social issue did the movie highlight?

The movie Jai Bhim is basically a brutal truth about the discrimination against the tribal community of India and the brutal torture by the police. In other words, it is a true story that has been presented in the form of a movie. In this movie, it is seen that a man is arrested by the police on the false accusation of theft and tortured. And after arresting him, inhuman torture is done to that man and that man is not even close to that incident.

The main social problem here is the abuse of power and inhumane acts. Where there are poor people, an attempt has been seen to torture them and the blatant indifference of the proper judicial system has been highlighted in this movie. Basically, it is shown here that the people of the upper class oppress the poor and illiterate people of the society. This movie clearly shows how caste and lineage take away people's rights based on these.

Did it change how you see this issue?

After watching this movie, my perspective has changed a lot. For example, we all know that the law is equal for everyone and I used to believe in it before. But after watching the movie, it is understood that to get justice, you have to fight and protest a lot of times, otherwise you have to cheat yourself and get tortured. And especially if the opponent is someone inhuman and powerful, then the level of protest and struggle has to be increased. Then the rights that cannot be achieved by bringing it.

And from this, we understand that sometimes being silent is like supporting injustice. Seeing the way the main character in the movie selflessly fought legally, I understood how brave it is to stand up for people's rights by sacrificing personal benefits. So, we have to face it with courage, that is how we get fair rights.

How is this theme discussed this week relevant today?

I think this week's theme is absolutely right for the present time. Currently, in the society and the world, due to inhumanity, violence and fights are going on continuously. Even today, people are victims of color, religion, economic conditions and various discriminations. People do not value people as human beings, but consider small castes, big castes, rich people, many powerful people above them, due to which killings, fights, clashes and other things happen. Meanwhile, the police continue to torture the helpless and poor people and that is because of some of the above dishonest and human reasons.

If people protest and fight and if everyone comes forward together, then these will be mixed with dust. Everyone should break the wrong conventional rules and show humanity and courage among everyone.
