Which Scene Still Stays In Your Mind? Why?

Chris Gardner and his son in the public bathroom sleeping

One of the most touching moments in This movie was when Chris Gardner and his son didn't have a place to lay their heads and had no choice to to sleep in a public bathroom. I can't imagine myself in public bathroom at all, As I watched this scene, I had a feeling of the pain, fear and the helplessness Chris had to face as a father. All that was written is his face was the disappointment of how he tried protect his son from the harsh reality that they were facing just by acting like they were playing game, but still as I watched the scene I could see the heavy burden he had on his shoulder. It was at that scene I knew that parents are capable of going to any length to make sure their children are safe even when life looks unbearable.

What makes this sense unforgettable was not only because they were facing poverty, but was the strength and love Chris still showed despite his predicament. I have seen a lot of individuals give up when burdens becomes too much face, but Chris had it in him to fight for a better future. Even as his sat of the floor in the bathroom, holding the door to keep it closed with his foot, he was still able to comfort his son and never gave up. This scene taught me that true courage is not in the absence of hardship, but in the strength to keep moving forward in the midst of suffering.

This scene continues to dwell in my heart because, we are reminded that the part to success often starts with silent struggles no one sees. It was a scene that touched my heart because it reflects the life that most individuals are secretly experiencing daily. It is a scene that teaches us to value perseverance, appreciate our loved ones, and not to judge individuals all because of their immediate condition. Most especially, it reminds us that sacrifice, determination and hope can change one's life for the better, no matter how impossible the situation seems.

What Message Did You Carry Forward?

The message I am carrying forward is that dignity, resilience are majorly created in times of extreme hardship. Chris Gardner showed that real strength isn't about wealth, public success or comfort, but in the ability of remaining hopeful and responsible when life's turns cruel. Even as he faced homelessness, and rejection he never failed in his role as a father or surrender his dreams. This sends a clear message that the one's who preserver is not simply enduring pain, but in the process of pursuing purpose despite the physical and emotional suffering.

It also carries forward the necessity of compassion and human understanding. There are a lot of individuals closed to us who are going through silent battles which are invisible to the society, and the process still smile and survive each day the passes. I then encourage individuals to avoid judging others all because of their temporary struggle because people can change their circumstances with determination and opportunities. Most importantly, it reminds us of love, sacrifice and that patience is a force which can transform personal failure and hopelessness to success.

Would You Recommend This Movie? Why?

I would definitely recommend this movie, because it is not just about the movie being entertaining, but because of it's strong emphasis on determination, sacrifice and hope. The film puts forward realistic struggles which I lot of people experience like rejection, poverty, and emotional pressure, and still show persistence and hard work can attain success. The emotional connection that Chris Gardner and his son possessed also makes the story deeply touching and inspiring for viewers of different ages.

I would also recommend this movie because because of the great values it talks regarding responsibility, self belief and patience there is also two phrase by Chris Gardner which says “Don’t ever let somebody tell you - you can’t do something”, and “If you want something, go get it. Period.” encourages us to have belief in ourselves. I would also recommend you all to watch this movie because it encourages people to stand on their ground in difficult times, no matter how impossible the situation looks.

Esta película es algo triste, pero refleja claramente la angustia de un padre haciendo todo a su alcance por el bienestar de su hijo. Fueron momentos difíciles, pero aun así este padre no se rindió por brindar la mayor facilidad a su hijo.
