‎My productive day started bright and early with the usual home rhythm, tackling household chores, tidying up, and preparing a hearty meal for my family. Being a work-from-home mom means my days are always a balancing act. Before I can even sit down at my desk or open my laptop, I have to make sure the home front is settled, nutrition is taken care of, and everyone is fed and happy.

‎As many of you know, alongside my writing, I run a family YouTube channel. Lately, we have been publishing a special series sharing the story of "How We Met." It has been such a fun and nostalgic project to work on, but editing video footage with a busy home life is no small task!

‎Today, I put my head down, powered through the cuts, audio tweaks, and final edits, and officially published Episode 6! Reaching the publish button on a video series always brings such a massive sense of relief and accomplishment. I even popped over to watch and like the video myself right away to kickstart the engagement!

‎Building My Empire: Launching a New Blog & Channel Verification

‎If you thought video editing was all I had planned for today, think again! Once the video was live, I pivoted straight into the technical backend of my brand-new blog.

‎Setting up a brand-new blog from scratch involves a lot of tedious, detailed work, connecting custom domains, setting up legal pages, and configuring backend code. Today’s big win was successfully submitting and verifying my sitemaps with Google Search Console! After watching the system process everything, seeing those green "Success" badges show up made all the patience worth it.

‎To top off this productive momentum, I also created an official YouTube channel dedicated to the new blog and successfully passed YouTube's face verification test to unlock advanced features! Now, both my blog and its accompanying channel have rock-solid technical foundations.

‎The Reality of Motherhood & Daily Reflection

‎Now, looking at this list, it might sound like I had a completely quiet, uninterrupted workday, but that couldn't be further from the truth! Throughout every single item on my to-do list today, my little one was right there doing everything possible to test my patience and stress me out. From wanting attention while I was cutting video frames to making noise while I was trying to focus on blog code, toddler chaos was at an all-time high!

‎Motherhood combined with remote work is exhausting, chaotic, and often unpredictable. But as I sit here reflecting on the day, I am overcome with gratitude. Despite the noise, the interruptions, and the sheer exhaustion, I ticked off every single major goal I set for myself today.

‎It serves as a constant reminder that we are far more resilient and capable than we give ourselves credit for. Hard work pays off, patience sees you through the technical glitches, and love keeps the home running.
