THE DAILY GAME: 2nd–6th August, 2026 | Five Days of Sickness, Recovery & Hope
Hi everyone! Welcome back to another episode of The Daily Game. It’s been a while since I last posted. For the past five days, I’ve been battling illness, so I wasn’t able to keep up with my daily updates. Thankfully, I’m feeling much better now, so here’s a summary of how the last few days have been.
The first day started like every other workday. I went to work, carried out my usual responsibilities, and returned home without anything unusual happening.
The following day, we made Awara, and everything seemed fine until later that evening when I suddenly started feeling very sick.
By the next morning, my condition had gotten worse, and I had to be taken to the clinic. The doctor placed me on injections because I was really unwell.
I didn’t plan on going to work that day, but I received a call from the office asking me to bring the office and restroom keys. Even though there were spare keys available, they still needed the ones I had. I wasn’t happy about having to leave the house in that condition, but I managed to take the keys to the office before returning home to continue resting.
Even while I was still recovering, I found myself going back to work after receiving my injections. My body was weak, but I just kept showing up and doing what I could.
Yesterday, I completed my course of injections, and today I finally felt much better. I took my bath, got ready, and headed to work.
Although I still had a bit of a headache, I was grateful to have enough strength to make it through the day.
At work, everyone was hoping and praying for sales. It’s been almost a month without selling a car, and it’s beginning to affect everyone’s income. We remained hopeful that things would soon improve. And I had no perfume so I just manage to get today.
Because I was sick for most of these five days, I wasn’t able to keep up with my scholarship course as much as I wanted. I only managed to study for one day, but for now, I’m choosing to give myself grace. Health comes first, and I know I’ll catch up once I’m fully recovered.
These past few days reminded me that life doesn’t always go according to plan. Sometimes, your only assignment is to rest, recover, and trust that better days are ahead. I’m grateful to be feeling stronger again, and I’m looking forward to getting back to my routine.
