THE DIARY GAME: 11TH JUNE, 2026 | Slow Day, Puff-Puff Breakfast & Home Comfort

in Steem4Nigeria2 days ago

Today I woke up in a better mood compared to the previous days, but I was still feeling kind of weak.Because of that, I wasn’t able to do any house chores this morning. We did our normal morning devotion and prayers before everybody started preparing for their day. After devotion, I got myself ready for work.

Luckily, I had enough time this morning, so I decided to trek to my junction instead of rushing.Getting to work, I did the normal cleaning as usual. And thankfully, my colleague came early today so she handled the other part of the cleaning and that made things easier.

One thing I forgot today was carrying food from home.So while coming to work, I bought puff-puff and that became my breakfast.Honestly, puff-puff for breakfast is not bad at all.

Today itself was just slow. Not because there was too much work, but mostly because I wasn’t really in the mood for anything.I just wanted a calm day and I also created content.

Since there wasn’t much going on, I did a small part of my SQL class and tried to stay consistent with learning.Nothing too serious today just small progress.

Later in the day, I started feeling hungry again and decided to buy popcorn. At least it helped me survive the afternoon.

One interesting thing that happened was that two of my colleagues had a serious misunderstanding. They argued and ended up not talking to each other throughout the whole day.

The atmosphere was somehow awkward after that, but everybody just focused on their work.Luckily, we closed early.

Getting home, my sister had already made food. And honestly that became the highlight of my day Because after a slow day and low energy, coming home to ready food just hits differently.I ate, relaxed, and called it a day.

Nothing dramatic happened today, but sometimes a peaceful day, puff puff, popcorn and coming home to food is enough.
