reviewing on this amazing movie “Mirror and Reflection “ by Bimbo Ademoye

Introduction

Mirror and Reflection is a movie that tells about strength, courage and resilience showing that achievement can’t be made if you don’t stay strong and courageous during difficulties to fight and keep pushing to the end instead of running away.

About the the movie (M & R)

Mirror and reflection start at the hospital were a lady gave birth to twins, Ifedayo and Ifeoluwa. Ifedayo was the calm one always bully in school but she was always saved by her sister Ifeoluwa who wasn’t someone to be bully. They both grow up loving and caring for
each other. Both were intelligent but Ifeoluwa was the most intelligent, always dreams of herself in a lawyer rope but she was someone that run’s away when things become difficult. She wasn’t as bold as her sister (Ifedayo).

What or whose inner struggle stood out the most for you in the movie?

Ifeoluwa inner struggle stood out the most, she tried finding her own part in life but she was confused on what to do and how to do it, which make her look not useful to the family and her mother on the other hand keeps comparing her to her sister Ifedayo. She wasn’t liked by her mother due to a lot of mistakes she makes in life while trying to find her own part.

Which moment showed real strength and why?

The moment that showed the real strength was when Ifedayo stood up for her self when she was bully by her co-worker.
The co-worker at the law firm always bully her sister Ifedayo but always got away with it because Ifedayo is calm and doesn’t like getting into trouble. But that very day she taught it was Ifedayo she always bullied and get away with not knowing it was Ifeoluwa who doesn’t stand been bullied. Right there she showed her by standing up for her self and also for her late sister which got everyone surprised (asking when Ifedayo changed so much not knowing it was Ifeoluwa her twin).

How did the character change by the end?

Ifedayo and Ifeoluwa got involved in an accident she cause Ifedayo death but Ifeoluwa survived. It was a bad moment for her knowing she caused her sister death due to her careless driving she couldn’t forgive herself,
Her mom couldn’t forgive her either.

Ifeoluwa had to start work at the law firm as her death sister Ifedayo, at first she couldn’t get things right cause she didn’t study law in school but she wanted to get her sister promoted cause she worked very hard for the promotion.

Ifeoluwa acting as her sister was caught by her sister best friend Iheoma
She was so angry at Ifeoluwa trying to take her sister’s place and everything she worked hard for and refusing to tell the firm about her death so they can mourn her. But when she remembered what Ifedayo said about helping her sister discover who she is and stop running away when things get difficult, she decided to help Ifeoluwa in the firm and also keep her secret.

It wasn’t easy at the law firm with so many cases to win, just as she always Ifeoluwa tried running away when things get difficult at the firm cause she was scared of loosing a case which was complicated. But she was stopped by Iheoma her sister’s friend

After much investigation Ifeoluwa won the case which got her the promotion and there she discovered her part and learnt running away from difficulties doesn’t help solve any problem instead it makes one a coward and a failure. Ifeoluwa now strong and more courageous ready to take a bold and new step make it right with her mother and went back to school to study law.
