I have my fingers crossed🤞 as I am making this entry, to show how interesting and competitive this movie magic challenge is. Someone might think of the same movie you were planning to make your entry with and you know the rules, your points will be deducted if you review the same movie someone has done already.

This was my case, seeing the contest post I had one movie in mind, I started making my post on Monday but I had no time to complete the post because of my work, getting back on Wednesday morning, someone had made reviews on the same movie.

I am writing this one with hope that you guys shouldn't even think about it..lol.

Family, Love, responsibilities and sacrifices. And these is what my movie for the week talks about.

We always look at love as something calm or gentle, but most times we come to realize that love is Pressure, it is being the only person in the home without a gift. Encanto showed this.

Anytime we talk of Love, our mind takes us to Romance, dates, vacations and dinners. The most powerful form of love stories told are beyond all these, they have nothing to do with romance at all.

Encanto taught me that, this movie looks like a mere Animated magical Columbian family movie, but it is more than that, they portray what true family Love is and how it should be.

The whole movie was linked to a conflict which resulted to habitants fleeing from their homes, this led to a magical moment where Abuela's husband offered himself to save his wife and Triplets. This magic happened when the candle they held made a magical blast to send off the intruders and also brought out a magical home protected by mountains.

The madrigal family grew in love, as they were given magical gifts for the benefit of the home. This love was wrapped in pressure and expectations. Abuela's loved her family so much that she made a lot of sacrifices for them, these family burden was carried down to other generations which made every member of the family carry a burden except Mirabel who carried nothing but ended up holding the whole family together.

The most powerful type of love in Encanto is Family Love, these family love led everyone to making Sacrifices. Abuela loved her family so much that it became some kind of pressure and it was breaking them slowly from the inside. Luisa who has a gift of strength carried the family's burden, but felt weak in silence, Mirable on the other hand kept showing up even if they never really saw her.

Bruno disappeared rather than hurt people he loved, but because of the love he was still in casita taking part in the family meal from a loophole. Every character made sacrifices out of love for the family, this justifies my answer that Family love is the most powerful type of love

It is very very realistic, this is exactly like the Nigerian system of family love. Many families operate like the family in Encanto before the realisation. Many parents operate where love is expressed on what you bring, performance rather than acceptance. Children carry the dreams of their family on their back even when they struggle in silence.

The talented kids are celebrated and respected, they even brag about them but the ordinary ones are compared, "That boy that is rich does he have two heads?" This is a typical comparison question. This is very typical, they center on what you offer to the family forgetting the sacrifices you make.

This movie taught me a lot. True love makes room for ordinary people too, people without gifts or talents. The love that was presented before the reform was based on what you offer and not what you truly are.

Love is beyond your talent and what you can offer. Love is honest love is kind, Mirable was honest and she saved her family by telling the truth about the crack she saw even when they felt very uncomfortable about it.
