Abhiyum Naanum is a Tamil film that came out in 2008. This film was made by Prakash Raj. Directed by Radha Mohan. The film has Trisha playing the character. Prithviraj is also in the film for a while.

The story of Abhiyum Naanum is about how much a father and daughter care about each other. You can think of it as a story, about what a father should do and what a daughter deserves. Every person has things they should do. Things they deserve.. In Abhiyum Naanum these things are not shown very well.

The affection displayed by the father often appears exaggerated and artificial in many instances. Furthermore, this is a story set among the upper class; the father is a prominent businessman capable of buying his daughter whatever she desires. Is such a feat possible for everyone? Consequently, the film inadvertently conveys the impression that affection is contingent upon wealth.

What type of love was most powerful in the movie?

Raghuram sees a father, Prithviraj playing with his little kid in a park. Then Raghuram tells him his story. Raghuram owns a tea estate. He lives with his wife Anu and daughter Abhi. Abhi is very special to him. He gets very emotional when it comes to Abhi. He wants to keep her safe all the time.

He has been, like this since Abhi was a girl. Now Abhi is a teenager. She knows what she wants. Raghuram does not want to let her go.. Abhi wants to go to Delhi to study for her MBA. Raghuram says okay.

Then Abhi goes to Delhi. When she comes home she brings her boyfriend with her. His name is Joginder Singh. He is a Sardar. Raghuram is very shocked to see him with Abhi.

Plot

Writer-director Radha Mohan is very careful with storytelling from the first scene. The movie is set in a hilly area, which makes it seem like Raghurams world only has his wife and daughter in it. That is what the director wants to show. We do not see Raghus work life or Abis school friends in the movie. But the world of father and daughter and their love. The world of Raghuram is very small. Then a big Sikh family suddenly comes into this world in the name of wedding. This sudden change makes the second half of the movie feel awkward . It is very different from the feel of the first half. Raghu worries about his daughter travelling staying away from home and getting married.These are feelings that any father would have, Raghus feelings are not unusual and he just wants what is best, for his daughter.

Do you think the love conveyed through this movie is realistic today? And why?

Yes, The film "Abhiyum naanum" is really something. Director Radha Mohan does a job showing how complicated the father is. The father he seems like a guy but then you see him being really possessive and only thinking about himself.

The film "Abhiyum naanum" also shows us something. It shows us how kind the son-in-law is. He helps the Sardar families who have lost people they love.

The young Sardar boy, in the film "Abhiyum naanum" is also very special. He does something that changes the fathers friend. The friend decides to adopt a child because of what the young Sardar boy does. The film "Abhiyum naanum" is full of these moments that show us how people can change and grow.

How does the main character change by the end of the movie?

The main characters in the film are father Radha Mohan and his daughter Abhi.The film starts from the moment Abhi was born, It shows how Radha Mohan feels very protective of her. His wife tells him not to be so worried and to stay calm. There are scenes where Radha Mohan is getting ready for Abhis nursery admission interview. These scenes make fun of the education system.

Abhi is a girl. She brings home a begger she found near her school. She asks her father to give the begger man a place to stay. The man starts living with them. Looks up to Abhi like a mother. Similarly when Abhi is in college she does something kind. She uses her fathers shirt to cover a mad woman who is naked, seeing this Radha Mohan is very proud of Abhi and he thinks she is different, from girls her age.

In reality what exists between the two of them is an affection of father and daughter realtionship. When Abhi got her love letter she asked her dad for advice, not her mom. Because she thought her dad was wiser than mom. He Said, "You are a beautiful young woman so you will get many such letters in the future. Just ignore them." which giver her a confident and trust.
