Sc-S33/W2-movie character you relate to spider-man 2

How are you all? I hope you are all well and healthy. Having worked on this platform for many years, I am deeply involved in the various communities and wonderful competitions here. Especially whenever a competition related to films or movies is organized, my inner movie lover cannot help but respond. The theme of this week's "Movie Diary Challenge" is very nice—choosing a character that is similar to the real struggles of my life. After much thought, I chose the character of Peter Parker from Sam Raimi's famous film 'Spider-Man 2' released in 2004. Below is a part of my personal feelings and character analysis.

1. Why can I relate to the character of Peter Parker?

Although Peter is a superhero in the movie, his real struggles are those of a very ordinary person like us. In this 2004 film, we see Peter torn between his personal life and his superhuman responsibilities. He can't get to university classes on time, he loses his job because he's late delivering pizzas, and he even struggles to pay the rent for a rundown house. He has no money in his pocket, no time to give to the people he loves, yet he has to give his all for the people of the city.

When I look at my own life, I see exactly these tensions. In real life, we may not have the miraculous power to climb walls, but the pressure of daily responsibilities and expectations around us is no less than that of a superhero. The pressure of studying, the struggle to build a career, taking care of a family, and maintaining my own peace of mind at the same time—sometimes I feel like I'm fighting an invisible battle. Like Peter, I sometimes feel like giving up everything and having a little peace. But at the end of the day, there's no way I can back down from my duty.

2. What are the similarities between us? (Struggles and Strengths)

My main struggle with Peter is "time and relationship imbalance". When Peter could not give enough time to his dear friend Harry or his beloved Mary Jane, a kind of distance was created with them. There have been times in my life when I have neglected friends or loved ones due to excessive busyness in my career or studies. That guilt has eaten me up from the inside, just like Peter. Besides, doubting my own abilities is another big similarity. When Peter lost his confidence and lost his power, I can feel that situation myself. We all withdraw ourselves in moments of failure.

And in terms of strength, it is "remaining honest even in difficult situations and never giving up". In the movie Spider-Man 2, we see that Peter did not lose his honesty and the mentality of helping people despite all the adversities. This strength works in me too. No matter how difficult the situation is, even if I temporarily collapse, I do not run away from the field. A strange insistence works within me to start again with new enthusiasm, even after accepting my limitations.

3. What did I learn from this character?

I learned a big lesson from this life struggle of Peter Parker—it is not possible to achieve anything great in life without sacrifice. When we move towards a big goal, we have to sacrifice our comforts, even personal preferences. Peter shows us that fulfilling our responsibilities is not always easy or pleasant, but it is very important to do so.

Another big lesson is that there is no shame in admitting our weaknesses. There is a remarkable scene in the movie where ordinary people inside the train see Peter's maskless, tired face and everyone stands together to protect him. This proves that no matter how alone or strong we think we are, at the end of the day, we are all human and dependent on each other. So, instead of trying to handle everything alone in difficult times, sometimes standing by people and accepting help is also a part of life.

Every time I watch this 2004 movie, I get inspired to live anew. The movie will remain in my heart not only for its special effects or action, but also because it beautifully portrays the inner dialectic of humans.
