How time flies...

Welcome to week 5 of movie magic! So far it's been a great ride moving from week 1 to week 4 and now we are at week 5.

Last week we looked into movies that challenge society interns of norms, culture and injustice! There were beautiful entries that blew my mind.

It's was amazing to see many participants share movies along that line, I personally enjoyed all the movies shared.

For this week I have something very interesting for you all, I hope you are all ready.

Week 5: Movies About Love (Beyond Romance)

Focus for the week

Family, friendship, sacrifice

This week I want you all to see movies about love but beyond romance that focuses on family or friendship and sacrifice.

Many times I hear people say if you really love someone, you would go extra miles sacrificing for them and I totally agree because many times I have seen my self make such sacrifices for those I love.

Other times we connect so well with people who are not even blood related and the love grows so deep that we become almost inseparable that you can give just anything or even do anything for them.

This week I want you to bring in such movies that portrays love beyond the normal romance to family, friendship and sacrifice. I will be waiting for your lovely entries.

Task for the week

• Watch a movie that speaks about love beyond romance focusing on friendship, family and sacrifice then respond to the following Questions;

• What type of love was most powerful in the movie?

• Do you think the love conveyed through this movie is realistic today? And why?

• What did the movie teach you about love?
