Watch a movie that speaks of Courage and resilence;

When we talk about a movie that talks about courage and tolerance, the first thing that comes to mind is Mother India. This is not just a movie. It is a burning symbol of Indian mothers' tolerance. What film experts call an epic movie. Today I will watch that immortal movie-

Story summary:

During Radha and Shamu's wedding, Radha's mother-in-law borrows money from the moneylender Sukhilala on verbal terms. Later, a dispute arises over the terms of the loan, but the village elders rule in favor of the moneylender. As a result, Shamu and Radha are forced to pay three-fourths of their crops as interest on the loan of 500 rupees.

Shamu was working to make the rocky land more cultivable to expand his farming land when his hands were crushed under a big stone. Shameful of his helplessness and humiliated by Sukhilala for living on his wife's income, Shamu decides that he will no longer live on anyone's favor and, driven by emotion, leaves his wife and their three sons in uncertainty and sets out for the unknown.
Sadness approaches Radha's family. The youngest son and mother-in-law die in Radha's family within a few days. It doesn't end here; a terrible storm blows.

The flood caused by that storm destroyed the houses in the village and ruined the crops. The usurious Sukhilala offers the helpless Radha to save her sons if she sells her body to him in exchange for food. Radha vehemently rejects his offer, losing her baby in another storm.
The villagers, including Radha, become helpless, but Radha keeps her courage in her heart. She vows to fight against helplessness and also gives courage to the villagers.
A woman's struggle against hunger, pain, and suffering continues. Among Radha's four children, two are now young. One is named Ramu, who has a very good nature, and the other is named Birju, who has a very fierce nature. When he comes to know that Sukhilala has wrongfully tortured them, he steals the land documents from Sukhilala's house. But Mother Radha refuses to accept the stolen documents. Through various incidents, he eventually becomes a bandit. Radha, seeing this condition of her son, drives him away.

Meanwhile, he used to harass Sukhilala's daughter and even threatened that if she marries her elsewhere, she would be killed. Sukhilala, frightened, goes to Radha. Radha promises her that she will not let her son harm her.
On the day of Sukhilala's daughter, the bandit Birju attacks and kills Sukhilala and kidnaps her daughter. Mother Radha was present there; she tried to stop her son, but Birju, blinded by anger, did not listen to her mother. But the mother and the village would not let an innocent girl be kidnapped. Radha was forced to shoot her son and stop him. The son died in his mother's arms.

What or whose inner struggle stood out the most for you in the movie?

Mother India is mainly centered on Radha. The story of a woman's struggle. The story of Radha's struggle is repeated throughout the film. A woman who is not helpless. She can change herself at the time of need and transform herself into a fighter, which is the real form of Mother India.
Radha's life of sorrow began after her marriage. During the marriage, Radha's mother-in-law brought money in exchange for interest; that money was paid off, and she was given land for cultivation.

  • While expanding the land for cultivation, her husband lost both his hands, and she also became lost in grief.
  • Within a few days, the younger child and the mother-in-law also died.
  • Another child was also killed in another storm.
  • Helpless Radha jumped into the fight for life with her two children.
  • At the last moment, she also killed another child with her own hands.
  • Radha's life, full of sorrow, made me interested.
  • It becomes difficult to feel her grief; tears cannot be held back.

Which moment showed real strength and why?-

Every moment of the movie Mother India is worth watching. No part is less powerful. The moment of losing two children one after the other, the moment of losing her husband, and the moment of losing her mother-in-law are all powerful moments. But the moment that I found the most powerful is when Radha's husband dies, and the usurer Sukhila makes her a bad offer to get the body of the beautiful Radha. Radha rejects that offer with hatred and decides to spend her life struggling.
Another scene touched my heart when Radha killed her own son. Radha, uncompromising in honesty and devotion, did not forgive her son either.
These scenes have increased the power of the movie. They have made Radha uncompromising. They have created an example of walking on the right path. Due to this, Radha is not limited to just one woman. She has become an example for all women. Women's power has been proven.

Most emotional moment of the movie

How did the character change by the end?

At the end of the movie, Radha kills her son Birju, who came to kidnap women with her own hands, and establishes law. The villagers are shocked to see her trial. She becomes an idealistic woman for everyone in the village. She becomes an unwritten leader for everyone. She is used to inaugurate any Auspicious work in the village.

Everyone accepts her as the ideal woman

Welcome to Steemit challenge season 31| movie Magic week3

Seem like a very emotional movie. Good selection!

Good Narration, but you given everything out already! I mean the full story leaving out the place of suspense! You must know that suspense is great part of a movie review!

You have not shared on Twitter which is a part of the rule.

Esa escena me impactó.

Escogiste una una película compleja pero que en varias oportunidades toca el tema del reto de esta semana en distintas perspectivas.

Gran saludo!
