Baghban-Movie summary
Raj and Pooja are married for 40 years. They have four sons and a daughter. They have raised them with a lot of love and care, taught them to read and write, and arranged everything a person needs. Now they are all in a good position. They are Ajay, Sanjay, Rohit and Karan. They all live in the city and are in abundance.
Raj and Pooja have another child, his name is Alok. They have adopted him, but they have kept him away and paid for all his education expenses, and have made him established.
One day, Raj retired and was unable to support himself. They decided to stay with their sons. Because their eligible children are in a good position.
The thoughts of parents and children are not the same. The parents thought that their children would be happy to see them, but the children started worrying about their parents' arrival. They started making tricks to prevent them from coming.
The children knew that their parents could not be separated; they had always been together. So they decided to stay with one of their sons for the next six months. They thought that their parents would reject this proposal and stay in their own house. But Raj and Pooja reluctantly accepted the proposal.
In the long 40 years, Raj and Pooja had not been apart; today, they were forced to stay apart because of their children. Then they had to endure various kinds of pain in their children's house, endure human torture, even if the children did not say it verbally, they made it clear with their behavior that they were unwanted here.
Pooja felt pain inside herself and started counting the days until the 6 months would end. And she would meet her beloved Raj.
On the other hand, Raj also faces similar human oppression. He does not like a single moment without Pooja. To overcome loneliness, he sits in a corner of a restaurant and spends time writing a diary of his life. The happiness and sorrow of his life, the oppression of his children, the struggle of his life, all are revealed in this diary.
The owner of the restaurant was a very kind person, he constantly observed Raj's activities. He met Raj, developed a bond with him, at one point he could understand Raj's family problems, he gave Raj a chamber and said that he could sit here and write as long as he wanted and also gave him a job in the restaurant.
Raj also had a wonderful relationship with Kapil, who worked in the restaurant. Kapil's father has a publication. After 6 months, Raj leaves to meet his wife Pooja. The two meet at a train station. In the midst of various discussions of happiness and sorrow, they feel that all their efforts have been in vain. After hundreds of attempts, his children could not become ideal people, so they started blaming themselves for it.
A short trailer of the movie
Even though they were with rich children, they were needy. But love is not lacking, so Raj wanted to give his wife a car as a gift on their 41st wedding anniversary. The manager of the car showroom misbehaved with Raj and drove him away. Raj's foster child Alok saw it from a distance. He respected Raj and Pooja like God. Alok came and took them to his house, gave them the highest respect, Alok admitted that everything had happened because of Raj and Pooja and gave them authority over everything.
Raj did not get anything from his children, on the other hand, he never imagined that he got it from Alok.
One morning, a gentleman came looking for Raj. The gentleman was the owner of a publication. He himself meets Raj. Raj's diaries have been published in the form of a book, which is called Bhagwan. It has become a best seller and he meets Raj with the royalties of the book and the book. He says that a reception has been arranged for him and leaves.

Some people who learned better lessons
The four children come to the event smelling of their father's money, their father apologizes to their mother, but that apology was not meant to be sincere, it was forgiveness for their father's greed for money.
At the appointed time, Raj comes on stage and speaks emotionally about the sorrows of his life, which brings tears to the eyes of everyone present. And in front of everyone, he abandons his four sons and recognizes his foster father Alok as his only son.
What type of love was most powerful in the movie? |
|---|
The film Baghban is a powerful portrayal of parents' selfless love for their children and the deep trust, affection, and sincerity between husband and wife.
The film deeply reveals how a parent sacrifices everything for their children without expecting anything in return. Raj and Pooja's sense of responsibility and love for their sons was unconditional - they tried their best to raise them with all their time, money, dreams, and mental strength. Even later, when their children suffered due to their neglect, they did not argue with them. This selfless love of parents becomes the emotional center of the film.
At the same time, the film also reveals the beautiful bond between husband and wife. Raj and Pooja's relationship was not just based on youthful love; it was built on mutual loyalty, respect, emotional support, and being there for each other in times of hardship and loneliness. When life puts them through tough tests, their love becomes more evident.

Raj is busy writing his life's diary
It doesn't end here. There is another form of heart-touching love in the person of Alok, Raj's foster son, but despite financial support, Raj never saw Alok, and Alok never saw Raj. Yet, Alok, just by listening to him, has reached the peak of respect for Raj. It carries a strong message to society that true family love is created more through emotional connection than blood relationship.
The film shows another heart-touching form of love through Alok (the adopted son), whose gratitude, care, and respect prove that true family love is created more through emotional connection than blood relationship.
Do you think the love conveyed through this movie is realistic today? And why? |
|---|
Yes, I think the love shown in the movie 'Baghban' is realistic even today.
The movie highlights some emotional truths that are eternally true. The love of parents for their children is eternally true. They are always ready to sacrifice their comforts for their children, and parents are ready to work hard throughout their lives to educate and raise their children.
The husband and wife shown in the movie have such a sincere love that it is possible to take care of their children. Statistics say that people in Bangladesh are happier because there is a strong understanding and love between husband and wife. So I would say that the love shown in the movie is still realistic.
What did the movie teach you about love? |
|---|
- We can learn the positive elements that we need to create a beautiful family from the movie Baghban. - - We can also learn the elements that destroy the family from here.
- Some of the most powerful lessons about love from this movie are given below-
- True love remains intact throughout life; one becomes stronger in any situation.
- The affection and love of parents are selfless.
- Parents work tirelessly for the future of their children throughout their lives; in return, they do not give anything except love.
- Another big lesson from this movie is that family is not defined only by blood relations. With respect and good emotions, one can become a family member without blood relations.
- Over time, we reach old age, at that time, the children behave immorally with the elderly and force them to go to old age homes. We get some examples from this movie of how painful the unfair treatment of the parents who are raising their children so hard is.

Welcome to Steemit challenge season 31| movie Magic week5
Good selection!
But you have left out the place of suspense by telling us virtually every thing about he movie. Suspense is a vital part of movie review.
Good interpretation of movie too. Weldone.
I really enjoyed reading your story about Raj and Pooja his wife, this is a very interesting movie and I'm triggered to watch it once I'm done commenting. This movies is true because sometimes the people you think they will be glad to have you around them are those who reject you but the ones you least expected will be the one to accept you and honor you. This is indeed a great movie and a good lesson to all of us, now I know that family is not just about blood, it's about love and respect.
