Drishyam is a thriller crime Bollywood movie released on 2015, which is also a remake of same movie name Drishyam Malayalam-language crime thriller movie of South India that released on 2013.

It was a big hit movie because the execution of whole movie was mind blowing to audiences. It has part two, too and expecting part 3 as well. Here I'll share my personal points of view on this movie that I watched and find it interesting. It's definitely worth watching movie if you like triller crime movies.

Before come to decisions and consequences of this movie I would love to share the movie summery. It can be a kind of movie spoiler but this is necessary to know the story before discussing on decision and consequences. So let me share this in my own words.

The movie story is actually highlighted a character of protective father who tried his best to save her daughter from an accidental murder. The father's name is Vijay who was a very responsible husband and father for his family. His wife and two daughters were very happy to have such ideal provider and protector. They were happy family.

One day a rich boy name Sameer came to Vijay's daughter Anju. Sameer was drunk and he was violent with Anju, when Anju's mother came to protect her daughter, Sameer attack Anju's mother too and Anju hit on Sameer's head to save her mother from his attack. Sameer was dead and both mother and daughter was scared.

Vijay was mastermind to hide this accidental death and protected his family from the accidental murder of Sameer. Sameer's mother was a police officer and the investigation was very strict but Vijay finally protected his family smartly and saved his family.

Now let's talk about movie's decisions and consequences,

What single decision in the movie changed everything?

Protecting family was the single decision in this movie that changed everything. Here Anju and her mother was protecting themselves when Sameer attacked them and the murder was not intentional. If this exposed, a family could be destroyed and it could ruin the girl's life forever. So, the decision of a protecting and smart father was the best move of this film.

What would you have done differently?

It's hard to hide the truth but when you explain this as self defense and you have no proof, you'll be prove accused so hiding the crime was the best decision to me too. It was a mastermind move of a middle class family leader or a protecting father. If I were the lead role, I would do the same and the whole crime scene planned and executed perfectly so here nothing more to add from my side.

Did the character’s choice feel right or wrong to you? And why?

The character's choice feels right to me and I respect such decision when it comes to protect family. Sameer had evil intension like abusing Anju, her mother and it could turn into rape. Anju just hit him for self defense and also to protecting her mom so she didn't done the crime intentionally so she doesn't deserve to be punished. The way Vijay as father hide the disposed or hide the dead body, it was definitely smart move and here audiences got impressed. They were tortured but they didn't confessed the accidental crime. These are the reason I find the lead role's choice right.

Welcome to Steemit challenge season 31| movie Magic week1

Seem like a nice movie although am yet to see it.

I expected more depth in the question what single decision changed everything and what would you have done differently.
