SC-S31/W3-Movie Magic |Movies about Inner strength(Chak De India)
Hello Everyone
I hope you all are good and doing well. Today I'm going to review
Introduction of movie
The movie Chak De! India is an interesting movie, mostly it is about courage, resilience and growth. This is a movie released out in 2007. It is a sports drama. The story is about Kabir Khan. He used to be the captain of the hockey team.. Then he lost to Pakistan and everyone called him a traitor.
Kabir Khan comes back seven years later. He wants to coach the Indian Women’s Hockey Team. This team has 16 girls from parts of the country. These girls do not get along. They are all very different. They speak languages and they have a lot of ego and prejudice.
Kabir Khan has a hard job. Nobody supports him. Nobody respects him. The people, in charge do not believe in him.. He still tries to make the girls work together as a team. The movie Chak De! India shows us that we can only grow if we face our problems. We have to work and be brave. We have to be willing to stand. Like it says nothing good comes easy. Kabir Khan and the girls show us that we can be strong if we make sacrifices and work hard. We can do this even when everyone else thinks we will fail. Chak De! India and its story of courage, resilience and growth is very inspiring.

The world sees him as a traitor who “sold the match” to Pakistan. He lives with that shame for 7 years, rejected by his own country. But his real battle is inside: “Do I hide from this label, or do I face it and earn my name back?”
Even when he becomes coach, the girls don’t trust him. The federation mocks him. He’s alone. The scene where he sits in an empty stadium, remembering the accusations, shows his silent pain. His struggle isn’t hockey — it’s fighting the voice that says “you’re a failure” while proving his loyalty to India all over again. That quiet, relentless war for self-respect hit hardest.
Kabir takes the 16 divided girls to McDonald’s. When local boys harass them, the girls want to run. Kabir stops them and says: “Mujhe states ke naam na sunai dete hain, na dikhai dete hain... sirf ek mulk ka naam — India.” He forces them to fight back together.
Later, his “Sattar minute” speech before the World Cup final:
“Sattar minute hai tumhare paas... yeh team tumhari zindagi se badi hai.”
Why this is real strength: He didn’t use his fists. He used courage to bring girls who really did not get along. Team girls dont like each other it would not be wrong if I say they hated each other. Their coach showed them that being strong means standing up for what you believe in even when you're scared. You have to stand up for what you believe in.He realised them that real courage is when you fight for something that's more important, than your own problems. The real strength of India was when he turned sixteen girls into a team that became India.
At the start:* He’s bitter, isolated, carrying the “traitor” tag. He just take the responsibility to coach this girls team not for fame but to prove himself as a loyal citizen not a traitor. He doesn’t trust the girls, and they don’t trust him.
At the end: He quietly leaves the celebration after winning the World Cup, . He doesn’t need the media or apology. He earned his name back through sacrifice and resilience. He changed from a man chasing validation to a man who found peace.
The girls changed too — from state players to a national team. The growth wasn’t the trophy. It was the inner strength they built. As Week 3 says: they made the sacrifices through courage and resilience, which automatically built their inner strength. Kabir walks away free, because the reward came from doing the responsibility.
That's all from today's contest review and I have tried to compiled all the task given in the contest. At the end I would like to invite @roohiasif99, @sualeha and @max-pro for the contest. Thanks for giving time to my post.
Best regards
