Explore your colors
I think people recognize and appreciate me for my style, I always get lots of compliments for my haircut. But like I said, since I'm a designer, I felt like I was playing too safe with my color combinations so this year I bought rare colored fabrics I haven't tried and made different outfits with them. Talk about red, lemon green, brown, lemon, purple, black, pink and also with some multicolored fabrics. Surprisingly I loved all of them; you'll see more pictures of these designs as I progress here.
As a designer, most of the time we don't get to rely on only our comfort designs. There is a need to explore and try different styles with different color combinations for different target audiences. One of my favorite wear in my early twenties had always been bubu gowns, I still love them as they are very comfy but since I wanted to do some style restructuring for myself this year, I've only made one bubu gown this year as opposed to when I used to make up to 7 per year, maybe I'll go back to it for my ready to wear collections next year.
This year, I've noticed my wardrobe now has more pop of colors as opposed to just gold and brown outfits lols and instead of more bubu gowns, I have more colored trousers and gown, it's exciting. This is a feeling every lady wants to have when they open up their wardrobes, we like to have options and that's what I did this year. So tell me, which lady or man are you, free and comfy? fitted and corporate? Bright, neutral or dark colors?? I would simply say stay with your personality and what suits you but also diversify sometimes. With that being said, wouldn't you like to patronize the brand?
