"SC-S33/W4-Rewrite a movie ending (Blood Sisters)
Some of the characters in the movie escape consequences too easily, while other characters struggle to get justice. In the movie, there was tension that was built in it, which I was expecting to be more balanced and satisfying, especially in the ending of the movie.
Rewrite the ending in your own terms?
If I am going to rewrite the ending in my own terms, I will reveal the death of Kola, as the only surviving sisters choose not to keep running. In the movie, they submit themselves to the authorities and explain the event and abuse that led to the death. The people who helped cover up the crimes are corrupt and were arrested, and the families are forced to confront the truth about Kola’s death publicly.
In the ending, I will show the sisters how they begins a new life, not as fugitives, but as women who have survived violence and chosen honesty over dear is what I will do at the ending of the movie.
Explain why you think your own ending fits in better?
I think my own ending fits in better because my ending gives closure, accountability, and emotional balance in the movie. The main ending of the movie only focuses more on escape, while my own version of the movie focuses on healing and justice.
The movie is built around difficult choices, trauma, and friendship, and ending the movie with truth and responsibility would leave a stronger message for audiences. My new version would make the characters of the movie feel more complete, as the criminals would stop hiding.
