Since morning, the dog had been running after the stubborn sheep in scorching heat with his dirty paws, his licking out tongue and running for so long without any result.

The cat was lying at the roof of the grain bin. The cat as his usual posturez composed and cold towards anything that is not food and quietly observing the action.

He explained to the dog that his barking won't make any difference because the sheep is very used to it and doesn't care about him anymore. And then he suggested a very nice deal, help me grab the milk that is on the highest shelf and I will teach you how to deal with that sheep. The dog was hungry and tired so he had no choice than to agree.

He pushed himself close to the wall, trying not to move and let the cat use him as a ladder. The cat got what he needed, he poured the milk into a crack on the floor, which was too small to be licked by the dog.

He descended and said that the dog had been really useful. He had to explain to the dog that the world doesn't treat with respect those who act by the rules set by others. In the most patronizing way possible.

The dog didn't bark, didn't try to attack the cat, didn't even show aggression, he just sat calmly and let the cat climb onto his favorite place and take a nap there. And when the cat was fast asleep, he left his place and went to open the door of the shed very silently so no one hears.

The cat felt victorious before he slept, why wouldn't he, he had all the advantages and food a bigger animal.

The dog walked to the barn door and locked the door intentionally. So the cat was resting thinking he had the high ground and his milk, little did he know he was locked in with the dog, and guess what happens when the dog feels like kicking ass, the cat has absolutely no where to go.

Cat thinking he's won when he has created a bigger problem for himself than if he had gone through the stress of keeping to his word, but he was a liar from the very beginning.
