I’m thrilled to join the SLC31-W6: Shop & Share Challenge, and I can’t wait to share my recent shopping adventure with you all! Shopping, for me, is not just about buying things—it’s about discovering new products, enjoying the experience, and making life at home a little brighter and easier.

This weekend, I visited Value Plus (VP), one of the biggest supermarkets in Uyo. Located in a very convenient and accessible spot, VP is a favorite for many because of its affordability and wide range of products. Walking into the store, I was immediately impressed by the organized aisles and the variety of items available. From fresh groceries to household essentials, VP truly has something for everyone. I spent some time with my Sister In-law selecting foods items and daily essentials for my family, making sure to grab snacks, Bread, yoghurt, noodles and other necessities. It felt so satisfying to shop in a place where quality meets affordability definitely a win for my budget!

After stocking up at VP, I headed to an electronics and household utilities shop to get some important items for the home. I picked up a few kitchen essentials like a juice Extractor, frying pan, grater, and egg whisker, which will make cooking a breeze. I also grabbed some wall sticker hangers to add a touch of décor and organization to our space. And because power supply can be unpredictable here, I didn’t forget to get a power bank to keep my phone charged throughout the day a true lifesaver!

This shopping trip wasn’t just about buying items; it was about preparing for comfort, convenience, and productivity at home. I loved the feeling of ticking off my list while exploring new gadgets and kitchen tools that will make daily life more enjoyable.

Overall, visiting VP and the household shop reminded me how accessible, affordable, and exciting shopping in Uyo can be. I came home with everything I needed and a sense of accomplishment that comes from finding great deals while caring for my family.
