Today’s story is about a black wolf named Thor. Everyone in the forest was afraid of him. Because of his strange appearance. The people believe he brought the bad luck. But sometimes we judge others too quickly. Without knowing the truth. This story shows. That not every scary face hides a cruel heart. So lets read the touching story of a lonely wolf. The one who change thinking of people forever...

The Lonely Wolf of the Snowy Forest

In the middle of the deep forest lived a black wolf named "Thor". He was not like other wolves. When the whole pack would go out hunting, Shadow would watch the moon alone. One of his eyes was blue and the other was golden, so the animals of the forest considered him evil.

People used to say that where there is a shadow, there must be death.

Because of this fear, he was always alone.

One winter night. It snowed so much that the whole forest was covered in a white blanket. The food started running out. The animals began to weaken. The wolf pack was going crazy with hunger.

Meanwhile, a woodcutter's little daughter "Mahar" lost her way by the edge of the forest. She had gone far away while collecting firewood. Now there was snow everywhere and darkness was spreading fast.

Maher called out for help, but heard only the whistle of the wind in response.

Then suddenly two glowing eyes appeared in the snowy mist.

The Thor

The girl froze in fear.

But the wolf came close to him and sat quietly. He did not attack. Just looked back once, as if to say: "Follow me."

Maher hesitated, but he had no choice.

The shadow moved forward, making a path in the snow. Sometimes he would stop to see if the girl was coming back or not. After several hours they reached a cave where there was less air and dry grass inside.

The shadow sat on the edge of the cave to keep out the cold air.

All night long the seal trembled, and the wolf lay awake.

In the morning, when the woodcutters and villagers reached there in search of the seal, they saw a strange scene.

The same dangerous wolf was lying injured outside the cave.

At night, a hungry bear came to the cave. Thor had fought with the girl to save her.

The seal ran to the wolf and put her hand on its head.

"It's not bad..." she cried, "He saved me."

The villagers fell silent.

For the first time, someone looked at the Thor not with fear, but with respect.

But the Thor rose slowly, looked at the girl one last time, and went back into the snowy forest.

After that day people used to say:

"Not all scary things are dangerous...some are just lonely."
