"SC-S33/W4-Rewrite a movie ending ("A Tribe Called Judah (2023).")

Movie title: "A Tribe Called Judah (2023)."

The above-mentioned movie is a Nigerian movie that I have so far watched and enjoyed, but despite how I enjoyed the movie, I wasn't happy with the way the movie ended.

It is an interesting movie that was like a comedy, as it is mostly about family drama, where a woman has many children from different men. I didn't expect the movie to end the way it ended because I felt like it was too rushed and unrealistic after all the sacrifices and struggle the whole family went through; the movie just ended like that.

Rewrite the ending in your own terms?

The ending was about the failed robbery,y which in my own version, the failed robbery attempt, led to the boys being arrested. Instead of them escaping the consequences, they confess the truth about why they committed the crime they did and how they were pushed by depression and poverty. Their mother wouldn't have died; it would have been after seeing the success and progress of her children.

The boys were given less sentences because they cooperated with law enforcement, and after serving their jail term, they would have ventured into business together to at least make their mother feel happy and as a sign of respect.

Explain why you think your own ending fits in better?

I think this ending of mine fits in better because the movie is mainly about the sacrifice and survival of a family, and it is not just about comedy or drama. I believe if the characters were allowed to face the consequences of their actions, the story of the movie would have become so emotional.

This is because the greatest wish of their mother was for her children to be united and have a better life without them involving themselves in any form of crime.

My version would clearly make the audience understand that hardship can explain bad choices, but it shouldn't be an option for someone to make excuses when being wrong.
