Sometimes what we hope for might be what might disappoint us if care is not taken, because how can I explain to someone that my wristwatch that was working in perfect condition suddenly stopped working when it need it services the most.

It was like a dream to me which I thought was after I woke up from sleep to look at the time and discover that my wristwatch, which was working perfectly before I went to bed, had suddenly stopped working as I woke up from sleep. Two things happened to me at the same time which were the wristwatch stopped working and the hand that got damaged.

I'm someone who loves wearing a watch wherever he goes which got to the point in my life that my friends started saying that I cannot just stay without wearing a wristwatch which their thoughts it was foguysuy, but no it wasn't for fancy or whatsoever, it is just that I have gotten used to wearing a wristwatch almost every time.

On a faithful and embracing day that I have planned on going on a date, I was so glad to get myself prepared in a simple but attractive appearance. On that day I over-reli on my watch before taking a rest as my phone was a bit down I chose not to press my phone so it wouldn't go off which I didn't want to miss the date I had with someone.

I woke up got prepared and carried my wristwatch to know what time is saying, but unfortunately, it had already stopped working. It didn't fall, nothing! nothing!! It just stopped working like that. I felt angry over the sudden stop of the wristwatch, but still decided to just wear it at least for the date, and because I was too used to wearing a wristwatch.

Another problem arose as I carried the wristwatch put it on my hand and tried to clip it; my hand got damaged. Two sad things happened on the same day in one wristwatch. I felt it was time to let the wristwatch go which is the reason why to date I haven't fixed it

What does the broken clock symbolize in your work?

The broken clock symbolises time in my work. Its symbolise time, but unfortunately, it stopped working and got spoiled again which made me worry about my outing on that day.

Is it a story of loss, hope, regret, or second chances?

It is a story of loss because as it is the wristwatch cannot be used by me again due to the damage,d which is now getting worse. Despite seeing and feeling the watch I have lost it because I cannot wear it on my hand again which is now a big loss to me.

What lesson does your interpretation carry?

The lesson that my interpretation is never to rely more on man-made items as anything can happen to electronic, electric items, mechanisms, etc. Having just one something can be so disappointing and frustrating which I have learnt the lesson of having something that I like two at least.

Awwwwn!
That watch is beautiful and your post is thought provoking. If it were secondary school days, I would have suggested rocking that watch whether or not it's working.

We did it back then. In fact, our watches never went old or out of fashion. And if someone asked the time, you simply tell them, "It's quarter to buy your own".

Then bounce off.

Well I could have wore it on that same day, but its hand got damaged also. Thanks for your support

Beautiful watches!!!

Thank you sir.
