Welcome to my belog and how are you all .I am @ roohiasif99 from Pakistan.I hope everybody fine too.Today here I am participating this wonderful contest which organized by @ hive118902.I am Thankful for @hive 118902,arranging very informative and interesting contest .The topic I have selected to talk about today is Aquaponics
Aquaponics
Aquaponics is a modern and environmentally friendly farming system in which fish farming and plant cultivation are carried out together.

To build an aquaponics system, a fish tank is set up first. Fish and plants are then added to the system. Special fish that produce more waste, such as tilapia, catfish, and carp, are commonly used. The waste produced by the fish helps beneficial bacteria grow. These bacteria convert the waste into nutrients that plants need for healthy growth.
Plants such as spinach, lettuce,tomatoes,green chilli and other leafy vegetables absorb these nutrients through their roots. This system has two main benefits: the plants receive the nutrients they need to grow, and the water is naturally cleaned by the plants before returning to the fish tank.
Aquaponics requires much less water than traditional farming. Fish and plants work together in a natural cycle, making the system environmentally friendly and sustainable.Therefore, this system is considered especially useful in dry areas.

Aquaponics is being used in research projects, commercial farms, and educational programs across Europe, Asia, America, and Australia. According to research surveys, aquaponics is practiced in at least 43 countries worldwide, and its popularity continues to grow as a sustainable method of food production.
