A heartfelt greeting to everyone visiting my blog. I am pretty sure your day is calm, joyful and full of beautiful little moments. Guys I am here and happy to be part of the contest hosted by @xkool24 sir. I appreciate this opportunity to express my creativity.

Every morning there was a slight rustling on the roof of the house. Like someone gently touching the ground. Sadi was used to that voice by now. She knew, it was the same white dove that had been visiting her for the past several months.

Sadi named it , Hope.

He was no ordinary pigeon. He did not make much noise, nor did he mingle much with other birds. But would come, sit near sadi, eat a few grains and then silently look up at the sky… as if he was waiting for someone.

Sadi was also something like that. A girl of few words, lost in her thoughts. Perhaps that is why an untold friendship was formed between the two.

One day it was raining very hard. The sky was thundering, the wind was a little more restless. Sadi thought that pigeon might not come today. But still she went to the roof, as if in disbelief.

And then… he came.

Completely drenched, his wings were heavy. He flew with difficulty and sat close to sadi. Sadi immediately picked it up in his hands.

"Why did you come today?" There was a slight tremor in Sadi's voice.

The pigeon didn't answer, just closed its eyes gently.

Sadi brought him in, wrapped him in a dry cloth, kept water for him… but nothing was going well. The dove that always seemed quietly strong, today was extremely weak.

After a while, it slowly flapped its wings… as if trying to fly one last time. Sadi held her tighter.

"No… not yet…"

But life does not always go according to our will.

The pigeon looked at Sadi one last time. There was no complaint in that look, no fear… just a strange comfort.

And then… he fell silent.

It was still raining, but sadi felt as if everything had stopped. She clutched the dove to his chest, as if she didn't want to let the moment go.

The next day, Sadi buried him in the same corner of the roof, where he used to come and sit every day.

Now there are only grains… and a silence, like never before.

But even today, sadi sometimes feels like... like a faint whisper is heard again.

As if that pigeon is still somewhere... completing its final flight.
