SLC31-W3 | THE GREEN JOURNEY | Earth Stewardship

Assalamu Alaikum I Hope everyone is well. Today I am going to participate in the “SLC31-W3 | THE GREEN JOURNEY | Earth Stewardship” challenge. This beautiful and awareness-raising challenge has been organized by the respected members of the Green Explorer Team @bijoy1 and @muzack1 brothers. Their initiative is really commendable. Because it not only encourages us to enjoy the beauty of nature. But also to express our responsibility and love towards nature.Through this challenge, I will share my real experience today. Where I tried to take care of nature through a small task as a conscious Earth Steward.

Yesterday I went to our Upazila Parishad for a necessary work. Many beautiful flower trees have been planted on the side of the road inside the Upazila Parishad to enhance the beauty. The place is very clean and full of greenery, which makes my mind feel good at first sight. Even though it is an official work place, there is a touch of nature here. Which makes the environment more lively.

As I was passing by, suddenly my eyes caught sight of the trees full of small white flowers. The flowers looked so beautiful that I stopped for a while and started enjoying them. I went ahead to take pictures. But then I noticed that there were some dry leaves lying on the trees. Which was spoiling the beauty of the trees a bit.Seeing this scene, I felt like cleaning it up a bit. Then the trees would look more beautiful and the environment would also be cleaner.

I decided then that I would remove these dry leaves myself. Then I manually cleaned the dry leaves from the tree. And I threw all those dry leaves together in the dustbin. This task was very small, but it seemed very important to me. Because, many times we just enjoy the beautiful view. But we don't do anything to keep it more beautiful. I tried to fulfill that responsibility.

The pictures I took show the condition of the dry leaves on the tree. The moment I was cleaning those leaves, the close-up view of the beautiful white flowers. And the green and fresh atmosphere of the whole tree is revealed. After cleaning, the tree looked much more beautiful and fresh than before. It feels quite good to me.

My feelings this small task filled my heart. I felt like I was able to do something for nature. I sometimes take care of the trees on the roof of my house. But doing something outside like this suddenly was a new experience for me. Especially when you can take out some time to do something for nature even in the midst of your busy schedule. That feels really good. After doing this task, I felt a kind of peace and satisfaction in my heart.

This small work of mine has made the tree cleaner and more beautiful. Removing the dry leaves has increased the beauty of the tree. And this can be a message of awareness to others as well.

If we all do small things like this around us. Like cleaning the dirt, watering the trees or taking care of the plants. Then our environment will become much more beautiful. It is our responsibility to take care of nature. And fulfilling this responsibility can start from a very small task. I feel very happy to be able to do this small task.
