Hello friends, I hope you are all well. For the second week of the Steemit Challenge contest, I will be sharing visit to a Graffiti Place. I would like to thank the organizers of this challenge, and without further delay, I am starting my participation.

1. What attracts your attention the most about this place or this work of art?

---

The wall art and graffiti area that I am sharing with you is located in Chawkbazaar. This place is called the student hub of Chittagong because two public colleges are located in this area, and all the reputed coaching centers and teachers' private tuitions are available in one place. As a result, students gather here, turning it into a student hub.

In this post, I have shared the graffiti and art on the walls on both sides of the road in front of Chittagong College in Chawkbazaar. These arts were not drawn by professional artists; they were mainly done by students. Especially during the student movement in our country in 2024, students drew these by mentioning various titles and depicting the events.

The depiction of events in the art of this place attracts me the most. Moreover, some local words of our Chittagong language have been highlighted in several places, which attracted me even more. However, apart from the local people, people from other districts are not supposed to understand the art written in this Chittagong language.

2. How does this touch of art change the mood of your daily routine?

This touch of art teaches my mood in daily life to be protest voiced. Maximum art here is drawn centering around the anti-autocracy movement of 2024 and with the aim of highlighting the vision of protecting the sovereignty of the country. So, whenever these arts come in front of me, patriotism becomes stronger within myself and inspires me to be protest voiced and revolutionary.

Graffiti has depicted various scenes in protest of how the then government carried out atrocities on the students. The red-colored arts depict the scene of the people of the country giving their blood, and when I see these, more courage awakens within me and inspires me to even risk my life if necessary to protect the sovereignty of the country.

3. Do you think art and color are important to people who walk around every day?

---

I think art and color carry a lot of importance for those who commute every day. Thousands of students from far and wide come to this Chawkbazaar area every day for their academic studies. We know that the future of a nation depends on how educated and industrious the nation is. Our history is written in these wall arts, and our struggles of various times have been highlighted.

Different colors have been used here to express the poignancy of various arts. For example, red color has been used in the movements where common people gave their lives, while cool-toned colors have been used to give social messages to pedestrians. And these arts and colors remind the commuting people every day about our history and awaken patriotism.

4. If you were the artist, what other detail or color would you add to that place to make it even more special to you?

---

If I were an artist, I would add some more graffiti to these walls. Especially, I would draw the face art of those people who have contributed behind protecting the sovereignty of our country and write two lines about them briefly underneath, so that when other people see them, they can recognize them and realize how brave a nation we are.

In fact, there is no example in the world of risking lives and making sacrifices to protect one's own language, and I would make graffiti of those language martyrs to present their revolutionary spirit and rare courageous attitude to the people. If I get an opportunity to do art, I would use colors to draw the pictures of those who have contributed to the country since it became independent.
