THE DIARY GAME: CELEBRATING MY 5TH ANNIVERSARY (24/04/2026)

Let me take this moment to share a truly wonderful experience from yesterday—my husband and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. The day was overflowing with gratitude, love, and deep reflection, and I feel the urge to share the joy of it with all of you.

Five years of marriage. It’s incredible to think about. Reflecting on our journey, I am filled with awe at God’s unwavering faithfulness in our lives. His love has served as the cornerstone of our relationship, and every day we've shared demonstrates His grace. We've faced both challenges and triumphs, but through it all, God has kept us grounded, whole, and in good health. It’s worth noting that neither of us has ever had to spend time in a hospital, which I truly don’t take for granted. I recognize that this is a blessing I should cherish each day.

Our celebration began with a simple yet intimate morning. We rose early, had our morning devotion with the family, enjoyed a refreshing bath together, and shared a comforting breakfast. There’s a unique peace found in those quiet moments where you can simply relish the company of someone you love. We took our time that morning rather than hurrying; it was the ideal way to kick off our special day. After breakfast, we decided to visit a close family friend who had recently given birth. There is something remarkably pure and beautiful about welcoming a new life, and we were grateful to be part of that precious moment.

As the day progressed, we headed to a delightful outdoor setting for the evening, just the two of us. We savored our favorite nonas issue (a dish that both of us adore) and enjoyed drinks while reminiscing about our journey together. It turned into a time filled with laughter, heartfelt conversation, and a sprinkle of magic—reflecting on the memories we've built and expressing excitement for the future. The most meaningful part of the day was when we renewed our vows. Standing hand in hand, gazing into each other's eyes, we reaffirmed the promises we made five years ago. It was a deeply powerful moment, and I felt incredibly blessed to have the chance to do it once again.
