Greetings and welcome to my blog. I am glad to be a part of this week’s challenge on bread stalls.

When you pass a bread stand and smell that freshly baked aroma, can you just keep walking or does it compel you to stop and buy some?

No aroma beats the ones that wafts across to me whenever I pass Bokku mart, slowly dragging me into that store craving their fresh bread. Bokku mart is famous for its addictive troes bread that leaves both young and old queuing to have a taste of its soft and delicious bread.

Located along Bariga road on the way leading to the popular market of the community is the talk of everyone in our neighborhood. If you haven’t had a taste of Bokku bread, then you did just be treated as an alien. Business people from all works of life queue to buy these bread and resell them. The queue is endless especially in the evening times. They operate from 9am-9pm everyday.

Bokku mart is known to sell basically two types of bread; the wheat bread which is specifically made for diabetes patients and those who wants to probably cut down on their sugar intake and then their treos bread which is the craving of everyone. I always go for the treos bread whenever the aroma come dragging me in.

What's your go-to accompaniment to enjoying good bread: freshly brewed coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or do you prefer to savor it simply on its own?

When it comes to bread for me, trust me it would always go with a beautiful accompaniment which for me is usually freshly garnished and well prepared omelette and of course a hot cup of chocolate.

I do not like eating my bread alone or with just the chocolate drink. It kinda feels bland, hence at every point in time, my omelette will always come in handy. A perfect combination for my favorite bread brand and breakfast.

What's the first thing you notice when you enter a bakery: the variety, the cleanliness of the shop, or the golden color of the bread?

There’s a saying that goes that the eyes eats first before the mouth. Well, in this case my eyes eats first. So I get to notice an environment and the cleanliness of the bakery and I must say that when it comes to cleaniness, Bokku mart does it so well.

The environment is so clean and well kept that you would love to have a bite of the bread they are selling. So I observe the environment first and then the bread. Talking of the colour of the bread, I love the ones that have white look than the ones that are already browned.

My sister says she prefers the brown one but for me, I feel it’s too burnt while she says the white breads look like they aren’t well baked. Well, every one with their choices. Different strokes for different folks. For me, the white bread wins. They are always very soft and delicious.

Bokku bread is the go to for me whenever I want to buy bread and their clean environment also makes it easier to want to always patronize them. Their services are very simple and you can buy stuffs there either in cash or transfer.

Their customer service is very friendly and alot of people actually troop in the buy things from them. Most mornings, there are few people who come in to buy but towards evening is their busy times and people buy a lot from them especially their bread.

These are the prices of the two types of bread they sell in steem and my local currency.
