I recently visited the famous 'Nani Jilapi House' in Uttara, which was a unique and memorable experience for me. The biggest surprise of this shop was the opportunity to talk directly to the artisans there. Through the conversation, I came to know that they have a completely unique and secret formula behind making Jilapi. They make each Jilapi with care using 100% pure and quality ingredients without resorting to any artificial ingredients. This transparency and purity of Jilapi making really impressed me. Let me share some more details of my wonderful experience with you.

The amazing street dessert shop that I have chosen for my review is called 'Nani Jilapi House'. It is located at the crossroads of Sector 11, a very popular and popular area of Uttara. This shop is located on Garibe Newaz Avenue, just opposite one of Uttara's landmarks, 'Zamzam Tower'. This special jilapi outlet stands right next to the famous 'Nani Mishtanna Bhandar' established by Nani Ghosh. This wonderful jilapi house operates from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM every day, which gives sweet lovers the opportunity to taste their delicious jilapi at any time of the day or night.

Nani Jilapi House is very popular among the foodies of Uttara mainly for the unique taste and chewy texture of their Jilapi. There are mainly three types of Jilapi available here: Reshmi Jilapi, Shahi Jilapi and Shahi Bombay Jilapi. They use their own formula and 100% pure ingredients in making each Jilapi, which has taken its quality to another level. Just as the Reshmi Jilapi here is thin and crispy, the Shahi Jilapi is large in size and juicy. The prices here are also quite affordable and reasonable compared to the quality and taste, which is within the reach of the common buyers. Their main feature is to serve fresh Jilapi by maintaining hygiene, due to which people come here from far and wide.

✔ Formas de pago.
The payment method of Nani Jilapi House is quite traditional and simple. There is no opportunity to pay through any modern credit/debit card or mobile banking (such as bKash or Nagad). There is not even a separate cash counter here. The person who directly makes the hot jilapi and delivers it to you has to pay the price in cash (Cash Only). This method of collecting jilapi by paying directly to the artisan is like the old-fashioned method of street food.

There are some great things that I noticed during my visit to Nani Jilapi House that set it apart from other sweet shops in Uttara. One of the great features of this shop is its 'live kitchen' experience; here, you get to see the jilapi being cooked by skilled craftsmen in a big pan over a sizzling oil, which assures the customers about the purity of the food. Since the shop is located at a busy intersection in Sector 11, there is always a festive atmosphere here and the crowd of foodies overflowing after dusk is a testament to its skyrocketing popularity. Also, their fast and clean packing system for customers from far and wide is really commendable. Even amidst the modernization of Uttara, Nani Jilapi House has maintained the homely and perfect taste of their jilapi made with their own formula. Which is difficult to understand without trying.

✔ Detalles sobre su estructura, ambiente, atención, entre otros.
Although the structure of Nani Jilapi House is quite simple, it is always bustling with food lovers. Since there is a live jilapi making facility in a huge cauldron in front of the shop, the sweet aroma of jilapi spreads throughout the area, which creates a wonderful atmosphere. The atmosphere of the shop is quite open and homely, where customers eagerly wait to collect hot jilapi along with watching the craftsmen at work. The service or hospitality aspect here is also quite commendable; the shop employees are very efficient and fulfill the needs of the customers quickly. I was impressed by their orderly serving of jilapi and sincere behavior, especially in the middle of a crowd. Basically, cleanliness and sincere service have increased the popularity of this jilapi house many times. The dough for jilapi is always covered. The jilapi balls are kept inside a glass showcase so that they do not get dirt or flies.

☞ ¿Prefieres que te den tu dulce recién salido del aceite o te da igual si ya tienen lo tienen en el mostrador?
The fullness of the taste of the sweet depends on how fresh it is. So I always prefer to have hot jilapi freshly taken from the oil. The aroma of hot jilapi and the 'crunchiness' or crunchiness that can be found in jilapi that has been fried for a long time is never possible to get in jilapi that has been fried for a long time. The specialty of Nani Jilapi House is that they take the jilapi from the pan in front of the customers and fill it directly into the thong. When this freshly fried jilapi is soaked in juice, its taste is like sticking in the mouth. So hot jilapi from the stove is always the best and first choice for me in terms of taste than cold jilapi from mostar or showcase.

☞ ¿Sueles acompañar tus postres fritos con un café caliente o prefieres una bebida fría?
I personally think that hot coffee does not go well with hot jilapi. Because jilapi itself is quite sweet, sometimes drinking coffee with it does not allow you to enjoy the real taste of coffee or the sweetness of jilapi properly. So I always like to have a cold drink or cold drinks with a piping hot jilapi. This contrast of hot and cold makes the experience of eating jilapi more refreshing and enjoyable. Especially in the afternoon chat or with friends standing in front of the Nani Jilapi House, drinking something cold with hot jilapi seems like a perfect combination of flavors to me.
☞ ¿Prefieres disfrutar de estos dulces como una merienda a media tarde o como el cierre perfecto después de un almuerzo tradicional?
I usually enjoy these sweets as an afternoon snack or snack. One of my favorite things is eating hot, crunchy jilapi with warm bread. When the juice of hot jilapi mixes with the bread, its taste gets a unique dimension. It is so dear to me that I choose this wonderful combination for my afternoon snack almost every day. Rather than eating it as a dessert after a heavy lunch, eating jilapi and bread in the leisurely afternoon is the best satisfaction of the day for me.
