To participate in the first week of Steemit Challenge Season-31, titled “Chocolate Shop”, today I am sharing my experience of buying chocolates from a familiar local shop in my area. Recently, I bought different types of chocolates from Bismillah General Store, located at Abdul Hamid Road, Satarkul, Badda, Dhaka. Although the shop is small, it offers a good variety of chocolates and candies.

• Opening Hours: Usually open from morning till late night (as it is a local shop, it stays open for long hours)

Shop Environment and Setup

The shop is medium-sized, and as soon as you enter, you can see a nicely arranged collection of chocolates, biscuits, candies, and daily essentials. Inside the glass showcase, colorful chocolates were displayed in an attractive way, which can easily catch the attention of both kids and adults. The environment was clean and well-lit.

Product Types, Quality, and Price

In this shop, I found different types of chocolates such as:

• Wonder Kids chocolate
• Stick chocolates
• Small candy bottles
• Wafer chocolates
• Milk chocolates

Among them, the Wonder Kids chocolate caught my attention the most. Its colorful packaging and the combination of chocolate with a small toy inside made it very appealing, especially for children. The prices were also affordable, ranging from around 10 BDT to 50 BDT.

Payment System

Payment is usually made in cash. However, sometimes mobile banking options like bKash are also accepted locally.

Service Quality

The shopkeeper was very friendly and helpful. While I was choosing chocolates, he patiently showed me different items. His behavior was polite and cooperative, which made the experience even better.

Which chocolate attracted me the most?

The Wonder Kids chocolate impressed me the most because it is not just a chocolate, it also includes a small toy inside, which makes it more enjoyable, especially for kids.

What type of chocolate do I prefer?

I usually prefer milk chocolate because it is soft, sweet, and very tasty. I don’t enjoy dark chocolate as much because of its slightly bitter taste.

My favorite dessert made with chocolate

My favorite chocolate-based dessert is chocolate cake. The soft sponge, melted chocolate syrup on top, and creamy texture always attract me. I especially enjoy it when it is served cold.

Conclusion

Overall, my experience of buying chocolates from Bismillah General Store was very good. The shop offers a variety of chocolates at affordable prices, and the environment is satisfactory. For local residents, it is a convenient and reliable place to shop.
