SLC33-W1: My Community, My Story – A Need to Know Place Around Me
Hello Everyone I Am @alihassan4 From #Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Dear friends, I hope you are all well. I am also Alhamdulillah, by Allah's countless mercy, doing very well. The 33th season contest is ongoing, and in this season, in the 1st week, dear brother @josepha has discussed a beautiful topic.
An integral and emotional part of Rangpur's recent history is the July Monument. This monument was built at the entrance of Rangpur city to immortalize the memory of the 2024 anti-discrimination student movement and the sacrifice of the martyrs. Its exact location is near the heart of Rangpur city, just opposite to Collectorate Survi Udyan and right next to the main gate of Rangpur Police Lines. It is easily accessible by auto rickshaw from any part of Rangpur city.

The historical importance of this place is immense. In July 2024, Rangpur's students faced fierce resistance in the anti-dictatorship movement in these police lines and adjoining areas. This memorial pillar was built to preserve the memory of the sacrifice and bravery of many young people, including Abu Saeed, a student of Begum Rokeya University, and to awaken the spirit of the July Revolution to the next generation.

The monument does not have a large natural park of its own as it is located in an open area beside the road. But on the opposite side there is a beautiful garden surrounded by trees. The atmosphere of the monument area is very emotional and solemn.

Main pillar: The sunken pillar in the modern architectural style symbolizes the movement.
Memorial plaques: Here the names and brief history of the martyrs of the movement are engraved or scripted, which is a special attraction for the visitors.

Analyzing the human emotions and history of this place creates a deep sense of reverence. Here it is really understood how common people and young society can change the history of a country. After seeing the place, just as the chest is filled with fur, the mind is somewhat heavy for the martyrs.
The local youth and the initiative of the administration keep the place well covered. As it is located directly in front of Police Lines So the security system here is very good and strict. It is completely free and open for free viewing. There is no fixed time limit 24 hours can be seen from a distance.Currently it is the month of July so this monument is beautifully decorated with flowers.
Since it is the month of July, it is celebrated with flowers
Tula is a great photo shoot for many beautiful views
Standing right in front of the monument is an excellent angle for photographing the entire pillar in form. Especially in the afternoon when artificial light is turned on. The place is family friendly and especially suitable for bringing children. There is no better open libary to teach children about our recent history, the story of the upset and struggle for rights, physically. As it is a monument, take off your shoes and walk up to the main altar in Tamil if there is a rule. Maintain the sanctity and solemnity of the monument.

Review:
The monument looks tall, and it is a kind of place that attracts people to take pictures while viewing the place. Based on your story the place needs to be protected by the local youth and police to avoid the place being damage or things being stolen.
