SLC-S32/W4 | Frames of My World : Hidden Corners of My Area.
Assalamu Alaikum, I begin my post today by wishing everyone good health. Today I present to you with a post participating in a wonderful contest. Today I am here with a post detailing the traditional fairs of Bangladesh. As you know, fairs are a tradition in Bangladesh and we like to go to these fairs every year and these fairs are a part of our tradition. Moreover, various types of goods are available in this fair which we like to buy with great pleasure and try to buy various household items. The biggest thing is that the fair is a place of great joy for children where they can have fun and enjoy their time.

The fair that I will discuss with you today is located in the heart of our city of Mymensingh and is held right next to the river. You can go to this wonderful place called Balurghat by renting an auto rickshaw from Mymensingh city for just 20 taka.
To enter this fair, you need to purchase a ticket of 20 taka, through which you will be allowed to enter. Since we were going there as a family, we bought quite a few tickets and went inside.
| Why do you consider it a hidden or lesser-known place? |
|---|
This fair is located at the very end of our city of Mymensingh and is located by the river, so not many people usually want to come here and this place is quite hidden. Moreover, since the fair is held once or twice a year, not everyone knows much about it, and when the fair is organized, the entire city is miked and people come here to enjoy the fun. Anyway, I went inside and took this selfie.
Upon entering the fair, my eyes were filled with joy when I saw these beautiful lightings. Undoubtedly beautiful and sure to attract the attention of visitors.

This fair is very famous for our city of Mymensingh and various types of indigenous heritage items are available in this fair which makes our Bengalis happy. To be honest, I visit the different stalls of this fair and I really enjoy seeing these stalls and when I see the different items in the different stalls with my own eyes, it really gives me a very different feeling. Through this fair, I discovered various forms of Bengali heritage that made me feel proud as a Bengali.
| What story or feeling do you think this place expresses through your photographs? |

One thing I really like about this fair is that there are different types of rides here which are very popular with children and at night these rides are decorated with different types of lights which are really mesmerizing to see.

To be honest, when my kids visited this fair, they were eager to get on all the different rides. I took them on several rides and they had a great time. Overall, it was a very enjoyable atmosphere where tradition and fun coexisted.
