The name plate of the organisation

It is organized based on districts, upazilas, and unions in different parts of Bangladesh. In most places of the country, these institutions are named according to the local village or neighborhood. For example, the name of our village is Dalal Para. According to this name, the name of the SDF institution in our area is "South Dalal Para Village Society." This village society is located in Fakirpara Union.

Fornt view of SD

This is mainly a loan-giving institution. It is one of the parts of the government's HD project. Here, first a committee is formed for the development of the villages. Then, in that committee, a list is prepared according to the poverty and financial condition of the villagers. Based on that list, they are divided into three categories: extremely poor, poor, and solvent. Accordingly, the households are also divided into these three categories.

After that, a savings account is opened for them through a one-sided system. From then on, loans are provided to those persons on the basis of their applications. The main funding here is provided by the government. Accordingly, a president is elected, and four to five people from the government work here for a fixed period.

The duration of this project is five years. After the specified period, that is, after five years, government officials stop coming to the project. Then the government officials hand over all responsibilities to the president and the employees working in the institution and leave. The institution provides loans of different amounts for the economic, social, and women's development of the village.

After the institution came to our village, many people became self-reliant by taking loans from here. Considering everything, we can see that this institution has actually contributed greatly to the development of our area.

This is a loan service institution. Here, the people of our village get loans of various amounts. When giving a loan here, nothing is kept as collateral, basically the savings certificate that he has is considered as collateral. I have mentioned some of the various facilities we get from here below.

• Micro-loan provision

• Training provision

• Agriculture and animal husbandry development

• Women entrepreneurship support

• Health and education awareness activities

• Disaster management and rehabilitation

  • This institution provides all the facilities.

This institution gives loans of various amounts of money at a very small profit. Here, a president has been elected from the village. All these activities are carried out from the party. Although the officers come and go here constantly. All the work is done by all the people of the village. Loans ranging from 20 to 5 lakhs are given here. Also, here 10 women from our village have become self-reliant. It is mainly run by women. There is no interference from the men of the village. So we can say that this institution is playing a special role in the socio-economic development of women and their empowerment. The amount of money that is given here is

• 200000 taka at 8%

• 100000 taka at 10%

• 500000 taka at 15%

This institution is part of a government. The government has implemented this project for the socio-economic development of rural women. Accordingly, government officials work here. There are five government officials and one opening and closing officer who looks after the entire union.

Basically a government institution. Here the people of our village get entertainment facilities. And the government people treat everyone very well and talk about the problems and make arrangements to solve them. The people of all the institutions are very polite and full of work.

Front picture of SDF

It is located on one side of our village. I have already seen several people in my village taking loans from this institution and starting small businesses. And as a result, their progress is noticeable. A person in our area took a loan from this institution and bought five cows from there and today he is successful. 20 to 25 such examples can be seen in our village as a result of the contribution of this institution. My experience about this institution

There are many reasons why some people have taken loans from this place and made their financial and social development. However, I have also noticed that government officials look at the institutions with a little negligence. Here, the officials always do what they do for them, but the government should increase its surveillance on all these matters.
