Assalamu Alaikum dear friends, how are you? I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. I am also well by the grace of Allah. Today I have a post for you. Today I came to participate in a contest organized by @sohanurrahman. I will try to fulfill all the requirements of this competition through my post. I hope you will stay with me and enjoy my post. Where is this place located, how can visitors reach it, and when did you visit it?

July Art Sculpture.

The place I have shown you is located in Dhaka. This is one of the places located next to Chandrima Udyan in the Tejgaon area of Dhaka. A National July Uprising Museum. I reviewed this place from in front of the July Uprising Museum. What I am highlighting here is the fascist activities of the authoritarian government during the July Uprising. At that time, the authoritarian government was attacking and killing student crowds with its police force. Such a scene has been created in the July Uprising Museum. The scene depicted here was one that struck a chord in people's hearts during the July Uprising. This portrait sculpture was created to evoke that memory. Today I will tell you about it.

What tradition, craft, occupation, food culture, or community practice makes this place culturally significant?

It skillfully captures the memorable moments of the July Uprising. The scene you see here is the body of a martyr and the illegal police force of the dictatorship. This tragic scene left a mark on people's minds. It was also created as a portrait of the way the authoritarian government was attacking the people beyond their imagination. This sculpture has been created with great skill and attention to detail. It will forever remain a unique creation in the history of Bangladesh. It is a permanent sculpture where people will long enjoy the illegal activities of the authoritarian government in a disgusting manner. The horrific atrocities of the authoritarian government at that time are revealed through this portrait.

How has this heritage been preserved and passed from one generation to another?

It will last forever from generation to generation. It was created after Bangladesh gained independence through a coup in July. This masterpiece of art will occupy a place in people's minds as long as the memory of the July uprising remains painfully etched in people's hearts. This is a tragic scene where the police force was killing ordinary people on the orders of the authoritarian government. At that time, the body of a martyr was being thrown out of a police tank. A video of the moment was captured by journalists. At that time, this video went viral on Facebook and other social media. And that memory has been preserved in the July Uprising Museum, which will remain with us for generations to come.

How does this living heritage contribute to the local community or economy today?

This is a tradition that symbolizes our freedom. Perhaps seeing these activities, the Bengalis took a stand against the government. I am hopeful that this will have a huge impact on our country's heritage and economy. Because if you have reviewed the situation at that time, you will understand how brutal the authoritarian government was at that time. Such sculptures will inspire us to save the country and to process the country's economy and other misdeeds. It is related to the country's independence and sovereignty. And with sovereignty and independence lies the path to economy and development.

What can visitors see, learn, or experience here that helps them understand the local culture and heritage?

Visitors will come here to witness the brutal massacres and government activities of July and the uprising. Which will be remembered among the people as a symbol of the country's heritage and sovereignty. It was a mass uprising that gave the people of the country freedom for the second time. Some visitors will come here to visit and enjoy it. It will serve as a documentary image of the brutal killings of that time. A unique image of the July Uprising has been depicted through artwork and sculptures in keeping with local culture.

What challenges could threaten this heritage, and what can be done to help preserve it for future generations?

It could be threatened by the lack of human benevolent behavior and the lack of people's deep love for it. If the then government regains power, these structures may be under severe threat. But I wish that the fascist government of that time would not return. Therefore, to protect it, the people of the country will constantly take a stand against the authoritarian government. However, for any authoritarian government, all these establishments are like a thorn in the side. Therefore, when the country's government becomes a dictatorship, such institutions may be under threat.
