Where is this place located, how can visitors reach it, and when did you visit it?
The name of the restaurant that I am going to share the review of in detail today is Shalik Restaurant. This restaurant is very big. It is a famous restaurant in Cox's Bazar city. Shalik Restaurant carries a lot of tradition in Cox's Bazar city. There are many restaurants here, of which several restaurants are very popular. Shalik Restaurant is located in Kalatali, Cox's Bazar city.

It is located next to Kalatali Beach. Moreover, Kalatali is a place where there are many bus counters, due to which many tourists go to this restaurant. Those who visit Cox's Bazar come to travel, and also go to Kalatali Sea Beach, and eat at Shalik Restaurant. I went to eat at this restaurant on July 24, 2026. We all went to Shalik Restaurant with our family. I also went around the entire area of the restaurant.
What personal experience or event made this place so meaningful, and how did it influence or change you?
We live in the tourist city of Cox's Bazar. Although it is a tourist city, our local place is our birthplace. We have eaten at almost all the restaurants here. The experience of eating at several restaurants has been good. But I had no experience of eating at Shalik Restaurant. Although my family's children had gone, my family members had gone. I wanted to eat at this restaurant. Suddenly, when my family members said that they would go there, I expressed my interest.

Especially, I used to eat at Algoni Restaurant. I really like the food at Algoni Restaurant. I had a very nice experience after going to Shalik Restaurant. Such a beautiful seating area, such a beautiful area, such a beautiful service, everything was very good. I gained a very nice experience. I did not have much experience with Shalik Restaurant before. When I ate at the restaurant on July 24, a change came to me.

The importance of Shalik Restaurant to our local people is very high. Shalik Restaurant is very famous in our community. Our Bengali dishes are available here. We live in a maritime area, where sea fish are abundant. The food is served in a homely manner. Their hospitality is very good. That is why everyone wants to eat at Shalik Restaurant.
The naan roti kebab here is very good to eat. Moreover, Shalik Restaurant's milk tea is very good to eat. The seats of this restaurant are very beautifully arranged. Here, it is very beautifully arranged like a joint family sitting. When there is a social event, a big engagement, or a party, everyone goes to Shalik Restaurant and eats and drinks together.

In other words, this restaurant has a lot of tradition. Shalik Restaurant has a lot of tradition in our society, and personally in the area. The price is also fair for the food. They do not charge extra for food. The food test is very high.
What can visitors see, learn, or experience here that makes this place worth visiting?
Visitors who come to visit will be able to enjoy a lot when they go to Shalik Restaurant. Many experiences will be gained. Especially, visitors will be able to enjoy the environment here. There is a very beautiful place to wander around. An environment to see. There are small cottages here. Moreover, there are 2 rooms, like a big hall, where there is a seating arrangement for eating.

Moreover, you can sit and eat in the cottages individually. The environment has been decorated with beautiful green plants here. There is a very nice place to have coffee. And a very nice place to eat sea fish. The food can be ordered and eaten as you like. You can eat sea fish kebabs. Moreover, there is a food facility for cooking various items.
All kinds of food are prepared when you order. Visitors who come to travel to this restaurant will have a very nice experience. They will be able to achieve a lot. They will be able to enjoy a very beautiful environment. And they will be able to taste the kebab very well.

If someone were planning to visit this place, what advice or recommendations would you give to help them make the most of their visit?
You know that one of the best places in Bangladesh is Cox's Bazar Sea Beach. Where people dream of coming at least once. The environment here makes everyone want to eat seafood. Everyone wants to go to a good restaurant and eat seafood. There are some restaurants here that cheat tourists a lot in the name of seafood.
The Laita dry fries were amazing to eat.
I ordered the beef kala bhuna.
So I would suggest that those who will come to Cox's Bazar can go to Shalik Restaurant and eat seafood in a home-style way. They will cook and serve the food very beautifully, as you say. The atmosphere of Shalik Restaurant is amazing. You can sit and enjoy the food, and the atmosphere is also worth seeing. The cleanliness of the staff here and the seating arrangements are all amazing.
