Welcome to my city. It's a part of urban life but still Mirpur city is known as the village of Dhaka city. It has busy roads too and affordable accommodation facility for people. Compared to other cities of Dhaka, Mirpur is more peaceful and livable spot. Let me share more by answering following questions...

Where is this street or place located?

These streets are located in Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It's a good city to live and exploring work opportunities too. This is also a part of capital city Dhaka and there are many safest area available in this city where there people can feel more safe and secure.

What makes this street or area important in the daily life of local people?

Local people can find public transportations easily because bus stop, metro rail facilities are available in Mirpur. Beside this people can easily do their grocery marketing in there daily life as markets, super markets, grocery shopping and fruit market available here.

The availability of transportation make these streets or area important in the daily life of we local people. Both busy roads, calm or sub road available. Dhaka is already famous for rickshaw as public and popular transportation and it's available here too.

What kinds of activities or people can usually be seen there?

People mostly found doing traveling one city to another. And that's the reason of traffic jam on some busy roads for a specific time. Working opportunities also available here like offices and markets so people gather on working spots of this city.

Raw material markets of this city is also found crowded so people usually see doing different outdoor activities on streets and all around the city. Here street foods are popular so often people found testing street foods beside the footpaths.

How does this place reflect the culture or lifestyle of your area?

City life means busy life so definitely Mirpur city reflect the busy lifestyle of my area. Most of the street footpaths can be found food carts that offer street foods. Many people earn handsome amount of money from street food business.

Like other cities Mirpur also carry same culture and lifestyle. Our culture is friendly and all religion people can live here with peace. People mostly found doing their own business and less interfere on other's business and that's a positive and good thing.

What story or feeling do you think this place expresses through your photographs?

My photographs are representing urban lifestyle of a city. It has different kinds of vehicles and people easily can plan trips. These are expressing the feeling of city life where noise, gathering of people and vehicles are part of everyday life.

It rare that sometimes busy roads found calm and sub roads can be found calm. Many kids use sub roads as their playground. These photos are also representing the commercial background of city Mirpur.

City life means noisy, gathering, sometimes dirty roads and streets too. My personal reflection about my city is positive though it's not perfect. Some streets can be found dirty and stinky too but cleaning process is also quick sometimes.

Local markets, shopping spots, tea stalls, cafés, restaurant, street food shops or roadside vendors available around this city. Everything is available on my finger tip and online delivery process of product purchasing is also fast and fabulous. And that's the reason I love leading a smart urban life here. I hope I didn't miss anything important to cover.
