Introduction

Food is more than just something we eat—it reflects culture, tradition, community, and local identity. Every city, town, and village has unique flavors that tell stories about the people who live there.

For Week 5 of Frames of My World, participants are invited to explore and share food-related locations through original photography and storytelling using Steem Atlas.

Whether it is a traditional restaurant, a roadside tea stall, a popular street food corner, a local café, or a family-owned food business, every place has its own atmosphere, history, and special taste worth sharing.

📸 Through your lens, introduce us to the flavors that make your area unique.

What Participants Should Capture

Participants should focus on food-related locations that represent the culture and lifestyle of their area.

You may capture:

Local restaurants
Street food locations
Tea stalls and coffee shops
Traditional food vendors
Local cafés
Food preparation and serving processes
Popular local dishes and specialties

📸 Try to capture not only the food itself but also the atmosphere, people, traditions, and experiences connected to the place.

Questions Participants Must Answer

Where is this food location situated?
What food or drink is this place known for?
Why is this location popular among local people or visitors?
What was your personal experience during the visit?
How does this place reflect the food culture of your area?

Writing Guidelines

Post Title - SLC-S32/W5 | Frames of My World : Flavors of My World
Share your personal food experience
Describe the atmosphere of the location
Include menu information if available
Mention opening and closing times if applicable
Explain what makes the food special
Write meaningful descriptions for each photograph
Focus on storytelling and cultural value

Submission Rules

Publish your post in the Story On Steem Community
Your publication must be at least 400 words
Participants may write in any language
Share at least 10 original photographs with meaningful captions
Add at least one video (45 seconds to 1 minute)
Google Map link and correct Steem Atlas pin are required
Read and follow 21 Tips to Make Better Posts for Steem Atlas
You may set 10%-25% beneficiaries to @steem-atlas
Review a location that you have not reviewed previously
Do not use photographs that were shared previously
Include the actual date of your visit
Maintain good markdown presentation and post quality
Plagiarism and AI-generated content are strictly prohibited
Only one entry per participant
Invite at least 3 friends to participate
Leave your post link in the comment section of this contest post

Photography Guidelines

Use clear and properly framed photographs
Share at least 10 original photographs
Capture both the location and the food
Show the atmosphere of the place
Include food preparation if possible
Avoid heavily edited or blurry photographs
All photographs should be connected to the same food location

Participants should try to capture:

Exterior view of the location
Interior atmosphere
Food preparation process
Signature dishes
Serving presentation
Dining experience
Staff or food vendors (with respect for privacy)

📸 Your photographs should help viewers understand both the food and the place behind it.

Contest Duration

📅 The contest will start on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 00:00 UTC and will remain open until Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 23:59 UTC.

🏆 5 best entries will be selected based on originality, photography quality, storytelling, creativity, food presentation, and proper Steem Atlas usage.
