SC-33/W4| "Tissues paper crafting"

Hope you all are well. Today I am presenting amazing art of my tissue paper crafts in the Steemit Challenge Season 33 – Week 4. This time I made a beautiful peacock using tissue paper and clay, decorated with flowers and a tree branch.

What I found special and unique about this work was the use of very small pieces of white tissue paper to create a beautiful and unique embossed texture on the peacock's body. It's a very beautiful and simple idea, but it takes patience, concentration and focus to perfect.

🧰 Material I need

For this craft I used the following items:
White tissue paper
Different colored clays
The glue
Scissors
A small stick of wood
Black background sheet
Flowers made from using tissues and colouring markers
A little patience and creative thinking

✏️ Step 1: Basic equipment and background

First I used a black sheet as the basis for my work. After that, he made a tree branch out of clay. I elongated the brown clay into a branch shape and placed it in the appropriate place on the sheet.

🌿 Step 2: Making the branch and leaves

Now I made small leaves out of green clay. Attach each leaf to the branch by giving it a slight shape with your fingers.

I tried not to make the branch look too full so that the peacock that will be created later is clearly visible.

🦚 Step 3: Preparing the body of the peacock

I then used yellow clay for the body of the peacock. First make the basic shape of the body and long tail and arrange it near the branch.

🧻 Step 4: Small pieces of tissue paper

Now began the most important part of my work.
I tore the white tissue paper into very small pieces. After that, each piece was slightly bent and started to be applied to the body of the peacock with the help of glue.

I used toothpick for that thing and pinched the tissue paper into clay body of peacock using toothpick.

🪶 Step 5: Completing the body

I first applied the tissue paper over the peacock's body and then slowly moved towards the tail.
Applying small pieces close together created a soft and beautiful texture all over the body.

Where the clay color was showing, added more tissue paper. Used white clay for the head and neck, while kept yellow for the beak. Also added separate details for the eye and small crown on top of the head.

🌸 Step 6: Decorate with flowers

After the basic shape of the peacock was complete, I created small flowers with the help of tissue paper and colors.

Use different colors in the flowers to make them stand out on the black background. Arrange them around the branch and the peacock.

✨ Step 7: The Final Touch
Finally I revisited the peacock's eye, beak, crown, branch and flowers. Added small details where a part felt empty. I also write my username and date of the post.

🎨 The final result

Finally my tissue paper craft is finished and fully completed in the form of a beautiful white peacock with colourful flowers, standing on a tree branch and surrounded by colorful flowers.
I personally and especially liked very much the layered texture of the tissue paper on the entire peacock's body. The black background also made the white peacock and colorful flowers stand out more.

🤔 Was this my first experience?

It was an interesting and mind-blowing experience for me to make such a craft by mixing tissue paper with amazing clay craft. At first it felt a little bit difficult and hard to attached the small pieces in the right place on the peacock art, but with constant work the method became easier.

Am I satisfied with my results?

Yes, I am satisfied with my final result. My attempt was to create a beautiful and clean craft using less materials. Although there is room for further improvement, I am happy to have completed my work.

💭 Learn me

Through this activity I learned a lot that paying attention to small things can make even a simple task beautiful and pleasant. Small pieces of tissue paper created a distinct texture in this craft, while clay helped create the basic shape of the peacock and branch.
For me, this activity was not only a challenge but also a good opportunity to test my creativity.
